My new Klim pants showed up today so my gear is pretty well set now....except maybe needing more gloves. :D Getting down to the last bits needed except for basic bike maintenance and tires. :clap

    Guys,
I don't know when your planning to leave, but please check out the this web site before leaving :http://www.sopfeu.qc.ca/en/home-alert
A lot of forest fires are presently raging up north.

    Have fun guys.
I'm leaving tomorrow morning heading south from Quebec all the way down to New Orleans.
    3 weeks of utter bliss.

Any dirt roads to suggest while I'm in the Smokey Mountains region?

    Back tires on order.

Hey Marty....I know we aren't really planning on the camping thing but my intent is to pack the same as always, meaning I will be bringing camping gear for just in case situations. I think I will start laying things out and checking them this weekend. My tool kit should be in decent shape it just needs to be verified. Just so you know I am having problems with my servo assist brakes right now so hopefully I can get to the bottom of that this weekend otherwise it is going to get costly $$$$. :cry I also found a guy with a relatively low mileage drive shaft that I am going to buy and install for peace of mind, since I am in the window for failures. Putting on some P3 lights tonight....holy crap those things are bright.....like irritating bright! :eek1

I guess the switch adjustment didn't fix the brake issue...

This morning everything was great and this afternoon not so much. The switch was loose this afternoon so maybe still a switch problem that I need to better troubleshoot.

Lakota, sent you the latest GPX route I have. I also sent a POI file of remote GFL (Gas, Food, Lodging). Keith, if you want the files shoot me a PM with your email address.

    Current conflicts I see:

    1) The Silo restaurant is a bit off the beaten path. Above Niagara Falls on US side. Have to play it by ear if we really want this one or not when we get there (if we are hungry or not..)

    2) The plane crash vs the Quebec routing offered earlier are in conflict. Right now, the plane crash will not be seen.

    3) Possible routing option using TCAT file which would Chibougamau to Ogdensburg, NY. More direct, all dirt, will cut off all Quebec & south on current GPX. I don't have a good grasp on difficulty/hazards, as I haven't read any TCAT RR.

    Lets talk on Sunday

When I save the GPX file it saves as zero content and it saves it as pdf
    Any ideas?

    Something strange about your mileage
i get 380 miles Randolf to Centralia and 170 Centralia to Annapolis via Millersburg

Discussion should also cover what we really want to see/do as opposed to trying to hit everything.

Well, you might be able just to rename the file from .pdf to .gpx. Alternatively, I've sent you a PM where you should be able to download the file.

I see the error with the last two days. The 180 is the dualsport ride only, making the remaining tarmac on the last day. Will fix on the next rev early next week.
