    ISTR a few posts where guys were making a mechanism that locked the footbrake in place. Maybe one of the Aussie threads?

    Howdy Bobmws,

    That is how the parking brake now works on the Ural, you depress the rear brake pedal and then move a small lever-knob that locks it down.

    The rig equipped with disk brakes has a lever that actuates the rear disk brake caliper on the pusher wheel, this lever is separate from the regular braking system no need to depress the rear foot brake pedal as is the case on the drum brakes.

    FI for better mileage and altitude performance would be a significant leap forward.

    If they can keep pricing static (I think the new ones are bit spendy as it is), they should increase market interest.

    My calutions show speed should reach 80 MPH with this new systems blower injection and new cam with ported heads and compression about 230 psi,


    CouLd make the ural too fast for us to drive.:rofl
