Got out for a day ride... I've had the flu for a few weeks and needed
    some helmet time.
So I headed to Ballinger canyon planning to ride single track
The weather was great almost warm and the hills where green

Started out with some easy tracks to warm up

There where a few others having fun and a little coolaid
    [IMG]

Now that I'm warmed up..... It's black diamond time

This little trail was a little over my head just what my soul needed
    [IMG]

    It's skinny and steep
    [IMG]

    Found a great ridge trail
    [IMG]

This was a skinny track too

That was a hard little hill climb... My soul was in the right place after it
    [IMG]

    A nice little sandy wash
    [IMG]

This was a very fun track it had just been groomed and was smoooth
    [IMG]

    Stopped for the view
    [IMG]

    More smoooth trail
    [IMG]

The flowers are starting to show
    [IMG]

    Last stop in ballinger
    [IMG]

I headed for cuyuma lookout next and was taking the long way thur the sand wash... when I stopped for this pic the bike was pushing coolant out
the over flow, the rad. fan had stopped working :eek1
    [IMG]

So back to the slab for me... stopped and got some Pistachio's
    and made a new friend
    [IMG]

Rode with some sport bike folk's on the 33 on the way home
but just couldn't lean the bike any more

NICE! They need to make transformer tires, super moto for the trip to and from the trail and a fresh set of nobbies for the dirt. :freaky

    Nice pics Windy :thumb

Went to school at Cal Poly SLO, and after getting totally sick of Pozo ('cept the Saloon :freaky) started trucking down to Ballinger every weekend (and some week days). Looks like you found some of the good trails.

Ballinger is a super fun area. Love those ridge trails. We saw Condors the last time I was there.
