I am putting together some tracks that start and stop at my brothers Beta/Moto Guzzi/Suzuki dealership in Robinson IL C&D Motorsports.http://www.cdmotorsports.com/index.htm

These tracks are roads I've riden many times and consider some of the best in this area. You ride these tracks at your own risk, they are just a suggestion of where to go.

This is the first one and it goes South and East of Robinson and it It's around 122 miles. There is a lot of gravel and its all on county roads except for a short bit on some abandoned RR tracks.

I will be putting together some more on here as I get time.

This is my first time putting tracks on here to download so I hope I'm doing it correctly. Please tell me if it downloads and works.

I just edited the tracks I posted. If you downloaded the ones I posted I suggest deleting them and download the new ones. There's not much difference but I added some to the RR trail and a couple waypoints.

I'm working on the second track now and it will go up and around the Moonshine area with several water crossings.

Here is a couple pics of stuff you can see on the first track. I'll get some more of it the next time I'm out. The first one is C&D Motorsports. The second is a way point a little off the track that's called Rockey ford/boy scout camp. The third pic is the Shire well. The forth is an old school. Fifth is an oil lease road.

Here is the second track. It is just over 150 miles and it is a lot of gravel roads and some field/dirt lanes. It also starts/stops at C&D Motorsports in Robinson IL.
It goes NW of Robinson, up by Moonshine and through several water crossings. It goes up to Greenup where there are a couple of gas stations then crosses Greenups covered bridge over the Embrass river. Follows the west side of the Embrass south then crosses the Embrass again at MVP. It then makes its way back east twords Oblong and Robinson. All on some really neat gravel roads.
I ride in this area often, mainly because of Moonshine. I can stop there at 7am and get a cheeseburger any day of the week except Sunday. Plus all of the creek crossings are a hoot. This one I have several pictures of.

I rode the NW track today. It was a little wet in spots and I didn't ride the field road section just after Greenup because of that. I fought the wind on some of the pavement sections but it was worth it when I arrived at the gravel again. Going again Sunday with some friends.

Here is a new track I put together. It goes South and West of Robinson, starting and stopping at C&D Motorsports.
If you start by going straight South from C&D you will run some pavement for a while but it soon turns into some of my favorite gravel roads around here. Running along the Embarras, going through Petrolia and 2 of the most arched bridges in the area over the Embarras before going through Bridgeport and over a awesome Wooden RR overpass. Then there is a great ice cream/burger spot in Sumner called the Dairy Dee. More gravel and some sweet field roads as you go North and make your way around the South side of the "Dark bend" of the Embarras river. Lots of cool gravel and some challenging dirt/field roads that are not passible when wet. You will know it when you get to them. One of my favorite field roads is after you leave St. Marie and ride through the "Dark bend" of the Embarras river. There are lots of local urban legends about the "Dark bend". A lot of people still wont go down here after dark. Oblong is twords the end and isn't on the track but it isn't far from it and there is a couple of good eating places there. Pizza and More plus the Highway Café are always good and there are two gas stations in Oblong also. After that there is still more good gravel to be had winding South and through Hardinville then back North twords Robinson and C&D Motorsports. The Stoy/Hardinville area is my back yard if I go for a short ride I usually stay in this area.
This one is around 178 miles long.
Ride these tracks at your own risk. I have marked the field roads or points of interest with way points and you can always bypass the field roads and find your way around. I have ridden 99% of this track but there is one spot I haven't so I hope it's good. It is labeled Slough road.

The first pic is C&D Motorsports. The rest are things you can see on the C&D South/West track. They are not in order of either direction of the track. A cool stretch through some trees, The Dairy Dee in Sumner and a cool old school.

The old bridge is at Rockey ford or old Boy Scout camp way point. Definitely worth stopping at. There are a couple pics of the field road entrances also.

I rode most of the SW track this morning. We have had over an inch of rain in the last day and I ran into 3 places where there was back water clise to Chauncey.
The first pic is of Slough road. I didn't go down it. I think it is passable when it's dry but I wasn't going to try it by myself.
The third pic is the wooden RR overpass between Sumner and Bridgeport.
This track is really fun to ride. I had almost forgotten how much there is to see on it.

Thanks so much Kevin----------will be riding this stuff soon----was kind of up that way just a few days ago to see if an old bridge I know of was still standing-----but oh my-----------it's got to dry out some.

Found my old bridge Southeast of Fairfield Illinois------still standing---but in really bad shape and closed---it was open last year.
