Just rode through Frostproof yesterday as I neared the end of a week long tour of FL. I stopped by O'Hara's to check out the Royal Enfield G5 Delux . :D

Drink a beer for me. :freaky

I rode through town like a lone cowboy, no traffic, no one else driving on the street.
Bikes were parked on both sides of the road, but plenty of parking spaces everywhere.
Turned around and drove back through town; again no street traffic. Didn't stop or park.
Looks like I was either too early, too late, or 1st annuals are simply a tough gig.
Riding to frostproof is a nice, easy, relaxing, 50 mile round trip for me that I take quite often.
Hope all turned out as you expected.

You must have missed it. It was a successful meet for us. Probably a couple thousand people, live bands all day. You should have parked and walked down Wall st.

I would call it a complete success, looking forward to next year.

:lol3 Rod can't sneak up on anything or anyone. Those even cut through the dust on the levees.

Had a blast trying the new tires on the GS, they are the Heidenau K60 Scouts, what a difference when on the levees, plus a 10K ride report (with the K60s) from another rider (Parcero) Chicago to Colombia you can't beat that!

I am looking for a crate to ship my GS, any ideas, contacts or recommendations will be appreciated. The bike will go on a container and the crate needs to be re-usable for multiple trips.

I put the K-60s on the bike in Fairbanks......on the reviews that I would make it back home on them. I got 5k out of them and changed out in Missoula, MT. The center tread was getting pretty shallow and I still have 2700 miles of hot asphalt with a loaded bike at 80+mph. I was not gonna risk it!!! I did love the tires in all the mud and gravel and mess while in Canada and AK. I would buy them again, but not think I would get more than 6k or so out of them.

Good for you Andy! I think Big Cypress is on the way from the dealer to Homestead, right?

Hope you are all healed up as well. We'll have to get together and ride soon.

If anyone wants a free tank bag, lmk and I'll bring it out to the park. It's a JR Manta, looks like it was a second, the panels seem a little crooked.
All the zippers work but I don't have the carry strap or cover. It works fine, I just don't like it.
