Another cold night so today I drove the truck instead of the bike. I know, I know, weak. The heated cab of an F150 sure is nice, I guess I should use the truck more than once a month.

Been riding all these years without heated gear, I guess it's time to spoil myself like you BMW guys and your fancy farkles.

Some of us rough it and don't have heated gear---That's just a misconception of the BMW Mystery Group

Just got home from the office and was going to go for a ride to find something to eat. The hell with that, this fog is almost as thick as the stuff in NorCal. I'm not risking a drunk cager taking me out so I made it home, dropped a pizza in the oven and I'm set for the night. Maybe go for a ride in the morning before Seattle kicks some Aints butt.

Just got home from attending the Slidell showing of Why We Ride. Watching it on the big screen with great sound and a full audience was awesome. I would recommend seeing in the theater....if you can.

Will be touring through. Most likely in the next two days.

Does anyone know of any good stealth camping sights?

    No.

I ended up riding through the gulf coast area of Mississippi.

The road that rakes you by Jefferson Davis home is great. I liked the layout.
    Gulf
    Big beach
    Runner biker paved route
    Then grassy median
    Then two lanes heading east
    Then median
    Then two lanes heading west
Then turn off lane for 50 feet or so
    Then a medium
Then another road to take you to back streets

Nice set up. Very well thought out

Glad you like that. On nice weather weekends it can get busy and it doesn't seem so bad when everyone keeps moving. If you want to see Hwy 90 during a grid lock, show up during Cruising the Coast in October; you're not going very far during that event.

Don't remind me, that season is quickly approaching. They'll have the sand trucks and sweepers out soon enough. Oh you cannot forget the sand blasting you get on any unprotected part of your body.

So, I ride to work everyday and I take the beach route, Hwy 90 and head west to the office, Island View Casino. Every so often I see loaded up and ATGATT riders heading east, I saw a guy on a Tiger going west last week but due to the traffic lights I wasn't able to catch up to him. I just wish these folks would post here and say hello so some of us locals can meet up to chat, etc.

    Anyone else feel this way?

Ok---Perry (Kingsized) and I camped out Sat night down at Bucaneer ---

I know we were so happy to get away from the RatRace of work that we forgot to check in with our friends down on the coast--
    Our appologies:eek1

Will not do that again---But man it was so cool to get away from it all for a change---and Buc St Park is really nice now that they have it all opened again.

Might be going again before too much longer and will check in with ya'll :deal
