It still needs to be put on a train and shipped here but I told the sales guy I want to be the first one to start it after its unpacked. I've never owned a new vehicle and likely never will again, I figure it's the one for me. They should call me the day it's going to be ready and I will stop by at 4:30 to push the button first. I figure if you buy it new you should start it first. I don't even want the guy to take it for a test drive for the safety.

I hope for 1000 km before I get into hardcore trails just to break it in gently- so where is the Ontario Advrider London chapter hangout?

I'd like to get a decent skid plate for a dr200 and a dr650 near London. Any reputable dealers that would have it in Stock?

In stock may be the issue but most places can get them in a few days.

Dual sport plus is closing up in June but they may still order you one(Hamilton area) http://www.dualsportplus.com/

A Vicious Cycle isn't far in New Dundee and lists both the 650 and 200 @ around $100 ea., again stock may be a issue but worth a call. Im pretty sure the Ricochet they list for the 650 is the one I have and its took a beating, the SW mototech is sweet too.

Royal used to carry them but Im not seeing them in the catalogue this year .

That's about all I can think of, being down here near the border(north of Sarnia) and far away from any shops I order a lot out of the States.

I don't know much about the 200 but if you are looking for any advise on the 650 let me know, Ive been throwing money at this thing for years:lol3

    Cheers, Todd

Do you guys know of a shop somewhat close to windsor that would lace some 17 inch rims onto my stock crf250l hubs?
Any idea on cost for labour?
