Skyclad reminded me about this conversation at the RDV this year.
So after a good scolding from Skyclad and Mark-O, here it is....

The Southeast, The Lair of the Dragon Tag-o-Rama (SETOR)

    Da RULES

#1 - Find the tag and get a picture of your bike in the same location (as best as possible). The first person to post a found tag gets to place the next tag. If you get a tag, but somebody else posts their picture first, you lose.

#2 - Take the tag to a new location, get the photo and post it here. Give a few good hints so the next person can figure out where the tag is located. Try to place the tags in interesting locations, maybe a bit of history, places with good eats that can be found down some nice twisties.

#3 - New tag must be placed within 72 hours. If new tag is not set within the time limit, the first Bruce posted gets the tag. If no Bruce was claimed, tag will revert to the previous tag, and somebody else will get their chance. If you won't have the time to drop it off, don't pick it up to begin with.

#4 - Tag must be placed on or near a legal road. Single/double track is out, but dirt and gravel roads are good. Keep it big bike friendly, and let people know if the they will be getting dirty to reach the tag.

#5 - File photos are NOT permitted. You gotta ride to play this game.

FYI; If someone adds a mascot to this game it will not have any support within the rules of the game. A proper tag will be valid with or without said mascot. :deal

Unlike most tag starters, I won't be posting the first TAG.

Someone get out there and post the first tag. You have 72 hours, the clock is ticking...

also, may I suggest another rule - no tags on private property or that require an admission fee

oh, a hint - it's on hwy 12 just south of Clarksville, Tn.

Way to get it started, Mrbreeze!

I'll leave the rules simple. If a Tag gets locked behind a gate, the gate becomes the tag, kind of thing. :deal

    Now I'm craving some good Q. :D

A '09 Bonnie with a Ural Cargo Box is next, then I'm scheming for a Scrambler. :)

The cafe racer was a little uncomfortable for the long haul, and is about as dirt road friendly as my chop.
