so did you keep the bike or sell it?

excellent road trip with all the drama and success.

    what an adventure.

good thing you really didn't get hurt bad...the hospitals there certainly not sterile.

if anything, you'd come out worse than when you went in.

glad everything worked out and you now have another adventure under your belt!

    :clap

    I still have the bike.

I'm not too worried about the hospitals here. I've visited them many times and haven't had any scissors or knives or cigarette buts left in me yet.

    Thanks for all the comments

Simply beautiful photography, and insightful commentary. I've enjoyed this RR immensely, and I'm a bit envious of your youth and situation of being able to take such adventure (knowing Chinese, no kids, etc.). Thank you for sharing it.

I can't find Ti Tian (Day 24) on Goggle Maps, but Shiping (Day 23) is over 1300 km away from the starting point. Are you really going to leave us out here without at least a wrap up?

    The face of China..........

Your pictures are beautiful. This portrait especially moved me....the character and lines in that face tell so many stories. Simply amazing.

Looking at the terraced mountain sides bring a lot of things to mind. The labor, the engineering passed from generation to generation, the fact that it is continual in repair and creation of new fields for a growing population, and, .... some of those fotos would make very challenging jigsaw puzzles.

    Enjoying the RR. Thanks.

    Lovin' it! :clap

What an amazing landscape to ride through! Great job with the composition and subject choice. I dig the desaturated PP too:thumb

Just curious, how were you carrying your photo gear on the bike?
Will there be more China trips?

I've yet to read a RR about China that wasn't simply stunning. This one is no different. Thanks for the great story and pictures.
