    Southern Discovery T.D.S. Fall Rally

    Friday, October 6, 2017 – Sunday, October 8, 2017

Southern Middle Tennessee Dual Sport Riding at its best, Guaranteed. Come join us and ride the Southern Discovery. Our routes go through three counties in southern middle Tennessee. The ride takes you into very remote public access dirt roads and curvy paved roads. We have incorporated more dirt roads to make our Fall Rally even better than the Spring Rally. The Spring Rally was a total success with lots of riders, but we strive for perfection.

Everyone Rides at there own pace. 10-15 riders in each group. Self guided, one leader and one sweeper in each group.

You may ride in your own group on your on time. GPS Files will be available two weeks before the event. 40% paved and 60% hard pack clay and dirt. Supermoto and adventure bike friendly. Spectacular scenery with rolling hills, caves, overlook bluffs, Waterfalls and lots of wildlife. One gas stop and one lunch stop on both days. we have a alternate route established for the ones that literally don't want to slide through the creeks.

    Camping and Food:

All you can eat breakfast for Saturday and Sunday is available for 15.00. Pop ups and RV'S are allowed in the primitive Camping area for 10.00 a night. Primitive camping is 10.00 a night. RV full hookups are 35.00 a night. Restaurant and hot showers on site. Bed and Breakfast rooms are available too. Please contact Fall Hollow ASAP to reserve you spot for camping and meal tickets. Click link for info.

Does the campground have showers for tent campers? The site doesn't say, and the phone was busy the last couple times I called. Also, I'm not a vergy good off-road rider, but I ain't skeert! :) I ride a Super Tenere which is likely to have Shinko 705's on it. Will I be able to navigate the dirt on that setup, or do I need something knobbier?

    Thanks!

The campground has two showers, as far as I could tell when I went a few weeks ago. The roads are public roads and mostly chert, so really easy to ride. I didn’t see any I wouldn't take a street bike. In fact, I just rode my Blast through several creeks further north with it's little street tires and lousy suspension yesterday, easy as pie.

Do I need full knobbies for the trails? I am still working on using up my OEM tires this year.

No. They're just public roads. I ride this on harder roads.

I'm intrigued. I recently bought a used '05 DL650 from a fellow inmate, and I have been on the hunt for more good rides in Middle TN. Only problem is that work has me out of town that whole weekend.

Just don't bring a KTM 950SE! It may disappear from the campsite like the one earlier this year!

Or maybe all you folks could setup a sting operation to try and catch that thieves !
