That's funny...we planned on stopping by there on the way as well...
Must be that great minds thing.
RTE. Who would have thought they were so educational..
First, the ruby red slippers aren't nearly that ugly, if you present them correctly:
Secondly, we all have tramatic childhood stories. Moral of the story is stinky hamsters shouldn't be bathed, and if they are bathed, don't blow dry them..
If you are a really lucky hamster, you might live in this palace, but you would probably be too fat to get up the steep ramps.
I don't think that wet nuts and cherries means you are "innocent"
Oh, and you best not do anything stupid that requires use of a urine container. If you do, get a wide-mouth one.
Thanks for the live entertainment tonight!

Go straight on Pratt Street until you come to President Street. Right on President St. Go 3 blocks, turn left on Eastern Ave. Little Italy is in the block of streets on your left. And now I'm gonna go eat some pumpkin bread.
Just had a breakfast slice of P-Bread. Very Yummy P-Girl!
I just checked the calendar of events and the Hare Scramble is on Sunday, would you mind pushing a weekend as I am sure a couple of us will be getting ready for the ride? Both places look really good though!
Good to meet you and Gumme last night and good to see and chat with old friends!!
Sure! jan 12th?
Ain't that the truth. Spread some cream cheese on it..and MMMMM.
I love a RTE/KSTE that ends with more FOOD!
If I'm not mistaken the wife is out of town on that day...
Iffin that's the case, I'm in.
Edit: just got clarification and it looks like I'm on baby duty that weekend. So unless I get myself a sitter, I'm out. I'll know more later.
Philygal and I are in as well....
Glad she made extra pumkin bread for us...
Updated Calendar on post #2:
Added: 12 Jan RTE (Baltimore)
Added: 19 Apr Advanced Cornering Clinic (Quantico)
And I registered for the hare scramble. No money paid, just name on a list...
Cheyenne and I are registered...
BreeAnna is stuck in the middle to young to ride her bike and too big to ride Cheyenne's.
Got started on some overdue maintenance on the KTM today.
First part was the transformation from fully assembled
To stripped down...
First thing to do was swap out the headlight bulbs...with the commutes to work being pretty much in the dark for the next couple months, I was hoping to get a bit more light so I'm upgrading them to PIAA Super Plasmas. We'll see how well these work.
Then on to the oil change. This time i'm installing an oil tank drain hose so future oil changes won't require pulling the fuel tanks and associated hardware.
(The extra wrap of tape is a little protection for where the hose bends near the bash plate)
The Magnetic drain plug for the tank had me had me a bit concerned...but the filters and other drain plug were clean...
I'd post the picture of everything reassembled...but it's not...figured I'd finish tomorrow...Still plan to re-connect the O-2 sensors and complete a couple other tweaks I've been meaning to do...
Damn nice setup for the drain hose, I'll have to remember that one. If I had known you were wrenching today I would have come lend a hand.
Nice seeing everyone last night at the RTE!
Matt...if you plan to go with the drain hose, you will only need the fittings. I have enough hose left over for another one and your welcome to it.
Hey Dave-O...the boot is on top of the trash can, feel free to stop by and pick it up anytime. Also when I get the DRZ back together I need you to take it for a ride so we can trouble shoot that noise...I think its one of the speedometer related parts. No more wheelies though! I need to finish that thing up...I am getting tired of taking it a part. I still need to do the rear wheel bearings, lube the rear suspension linkage, rebuild the shock, change the oil, and flush/ bleed the brakes. It won't be long until I am able to ride again and I still have a lot of shit to do!!
I am guessing no one will oogle my personal best of 2:45..
It ain't the bike, it's the rider: http://advrider.com/forums/showpost.php?p=20168165&postcount=18935
Just so you know, dude is on a Ninja 250... with clip ons. Mad fucking props.
Got the KTM back together today...accomplished a good bit of maintenance done.
Upgraded the headlight bulbs
Changed the oil and filters
Cleaned the air filters
Cleaned and oiled the chain
Checked chain tension
Installed an oil tank drain hose (no more pulling the tank to change the oil)
checked the wiring for wear spots and found a good one on the main power lead where it had been rubbing on the bash plate
(repaired, armored and tightened up so it's no longer rubbing the bash plate)
Also reconnected the O2 sensors...let's see if that helps the gas mileage...
I mailed the check today for the xchallenge. Hopefully it will clear, he can send me the title, and then I can get the bike shipped. I'm shooting for a mid-december delivery, but could be the 3rd week. I've done a little research and in the future I'll probably use escrow.com to handle these transactions.
