So, I am still hoping for Jan/February of 2019 with hope of January since it should be a bit warmer at the tip then. We, as individuals, are probably going to have to put down some $$$ in the Jan/Feb of 2018 timeframe if we hope to lock the dates and bikes in. Probably need to send the rental place an email to see what bikes are available as that has a tendency to drive dates also. Early bird......

The weather looks fabulous for this weekend. Is anyone interested in doing the RTE to Katz's on Sunday?

We confirmed in May for Feb. 50% deposit required. We are getting Honda CB500X. They do say go early to make sure the bikes you want are available.

January '19 sounds good. No issues with downpayment to ensure we get the scoot we desire.

Looks like you neeeeeed a WVa heard. :D

Have yo looked into making WVa your domicile. I remember 6 years ago when my job moved to waste taxpayers money I saw the agreement between WVa and MD was that if a person resides in WVA for one day a year then there domicile can be WVa. Not sure if that is still true but may be something to ask your tax advisor.

Oh I am not a tax lawyer or an interpreter for the MD or WVa departments of taxation. I request, desire or demand no fees. Interpret at your own risk. I take no responsibility. But will be happy if it helps. :lol3

So a few days ago Dorito and I decided that it was time to give our little motorcycle trailer some love. I had broken the taillight off and the license plate light shined down rather than up. I had flipped the license plate to the up side position so I didn't rip it off. So I picked up some new lights and while we were working it we decided to install the new safety chains J4S gave me many years ago, and install some used Condor chocks in hope of not ripping any more bicep tendons while trying to unstick the knobbies from the cheap Harbor Freight wheel chocks. Taillights installed with no issues. Chains welded on fine except they are a bit tighter than I want so I will reposition them later. The chocks were a little bit tougher to position since we wanted to haul two bikes in a forward position without banging into each other, it is a small trailer. A bit of measuring and I let the drill loose to do it's job....more on that later. As we lock up the garage for the night I decide to give the wheel bearings a good shake................ not good! Left one has a lot of slop and the right one although tighter will need some attention in the future. The left one though will need attention before the trip Thursday....oh did I say it was Tuesday night. More later.
