The next file is called the Trail of an Assassin. It is nice track which re-creates John Wilkes Booth escape from Washington after he shot President Lincoln. Lakota generously provided his ride report for this one! While you will see the marker flags at each stop, I've forced the route via some nice SoMD connector roads.

The third file is call Small Garages. About 100 miles (+/- 3.5 hours) of peninsula riding through on Southern Maryland's Calvert and Anne Arundel counties. Lovely scenery, nice twisty roads. RR here

Too cool! I grew up in Oxon Hill and never had a clue that this was down there. But then I was clueless about lots of stuff as a teenager....

LexLeroy--Don't feel too bad. Obviously ships have been there a very long time, however, it was only in the last 2 years parks and recs made it accessible via land.

Nice ride if you ever find yourself back in Maryland!

Entirely possible - I was there two years ago and spent the day in Historic St. Mary's City checking out the reconstruction of my ancestor's tavern.
I'd thought all along that it was a figment of John Barth's imagination in his book The Sotweed Factor.
