    I was close :D...I raced that same bike a few times in 1980...scared the crap out of me.....went back to my YZ125 and could breathe again.

    I always get pulled into your thread and just have a blast checking it out. Your Dad is awesome! doing these ride with you-what a trooper! Congrats on the new Bike. I have lead a group ride; Mesquite-Pioche-Rachel-Mesquite, the most beautiful country. i want to go back this spring and do another one in the area.

    I will try to get to ST George in Jan. It would be great to do a ride with you guys!

    I got a great deal on that 465 from a friend that rode it once and it hurt him. Rode it for two years and went back to KX 250's until I started racing MX again in 2002 and got my but kicked by the new four strokes. Decided if I couldn't beat them then might as well join em.
    I have a 2000 KX 500 and still enjoy riding it often.

    Your night time temps are colder then here. I freeze my little behind off in my tent. I must be a wimp. :-) Your day time temps are about 5 degrees or so higher then here.
    I need to find a little travel trailer to live in. Something self contained about 16 or 18 feet and cheap. hehehe

    Yeah daytime is around 60-65, maybe as high as 70 over the last week...but night is getting cold...30-35 range.

    yup, that kinda describes my xt250 and the tw200. but they get me where I want to go :-)
