    Congrats Jason!

I'll request another photo, can we have a shot of your mantle with all the trophies and awards you have earned in one shot? You inspire all of us!

    Spank that cow!

    G'day Jason, all,

Last was a pretty busy week so I was unable to keep track of the event as much as I might have liked. What I have done is put another page on my blog where I have now placed a record of the days of the event in chronological order (link below). In doing so I have borrowed from people and places all over. Thanks to Ross Briggs, and Tony Young for pictures and to Troy Carpenter and hardwaregrrl for your dedicated following and updates. Your input greatly improved my blog (did you even you sleep hardwaregrrll!!??).

In terms of the blog...It was amazing the amount of support you received. Most noticeable was on Thursday when suddenly the site had over 200 hits from japan!

Jason, yours is an amazing effort and an very cool story, I have tried to capture that in one quick and easy reference for you and your friends to look back upon, and think holy shit. We did that! :clap

Congratulations on the 'spirit' award...says it all really.

Ha! I did sleep and didn't feel like a devoted F5er since I didn't stay up staring at the laptop. I think we're all devoted to Jason here. it isn't often you get to see your beloved airhead motor on the starting line with modern appliances. you know the old saying: "that its more fun to ride an old bike fast than a fast bike slow!" He got me into Rally racing, and I've already met a small but awesome group of people because of it.! It's a new goal in my life for me to look forward to achieving. Thanks for all your efforts and blog updates. Very nice writing!

And for those of you unfamiliar with who the Spirit Award is named for, look here for a start. Cool dude, huge loss.

Again, very happy for Jason, especially that he is coming back whole!!!!!

Let's hope Jason is chillin' somewhere and soothing some aches.

Motoweka (sp?) in NZ has a nice Japanese type hot spring set up. I stopped for two days there once after 14 months at The South Pole.

Congrats on the finish :thumb! I finally got my ART goodies in the mail yesterday and I'm sporting the shirt today. I'm wondering how I'm going to explain the cow to people who ask. Perhaps I'll just tell them we race cows and watch their reactions! :eek1 Angus Racing Team :rofl

Now that is a proper kit. As a Westfalia owner, I completely get it.

I bet he can travel for up to a month, comfortably. In Oz, that is important. It is a big country.

Its Paul's actually, but no matter. Its a six wheel drive LAndy thats important :D
2 75-liter water tanks, additional 60L of fuel behind the cab, and enough parts on board to make another whole bike, almost :D

    Coffee's not bad, either. :freaky
