Don't you love it when some sellers refer to this as a "Full Resto" or "Frame Up Restoration"?
Congratulations on rescuing that K75, you did an incredible job! That was a heck of a lot of work and it is refreshing to see such good taste exhibited!
Few people make such an effort to save a bike from CAFE DOOM - the genocide of 1980-90s motorcycling.

I don't know about that my friend. I think it shows the beauty of the Brick in a manner that says " How do you like me now? " Sometimes, less is more.

If they had your sense of styling, they would have covered it in Rhino Liner.:evil

Early on I think. Seems to be an RS not an RT. The RT then had a windshield that was sleek and relatively low coming almost back to the rider. The cowl below the engine was an add on then. The rear passenger hand rest is in the seat. I don't know my models as well as many but I am thinking the first version of the bike, mid 80s.

While I was in da hood, I stopped by to pay Larry a visit yesterday afternoon and check out the current projects under development at the Special K SKunKwerKs.

The first project is his next custom customer build. He's really going all out on this one: frame, drive train, suspension, wheels, tank, tail cowl, etc... EVERYthing on this bike is going to be custom. However, the security guards confiscated my camera and, under penalty of death, Larry swore me to secrecy so you'll have to wait until he's ready to reveal it in a month or so when he's finished with it.:deal

His other project is a very clean 11K 91 K100RS4V that he's going to nakedize and use as his own rider.

Notice the lack of Line-X (not Rhino Liner) on my 93 LT.:lol3

Couldn`t he get rid of the filter box & add some pods to it. Might clean up the right side a little.

A guy from NJ called me a few years ago. Had just purchased a K75S from a dealer with only 67 miles on it! The dealer had had it since new and never sold it. Just kept it in a back room and looted misc parts from it when needed.

Seems odd to have examples of Ks that have 100K, 200k+ miles of journey on them and others that barely made it out of the shop because they didn't sell:huh
