It's been extremely hot down here lately, and to be honest, I'd rather take the truck than ride when it's 110 degrees. But this afternoon, I took the Versys on a little jaunt around some back roads in my county. My first stop was a little bridge over a little creek in the shade. Just around the corner is Follendor's Dairy Farm. These farm roads are so quiet and relaxing. I enjoy stopping and just listening to the sounds of the country, but when it's still 93 degrees at 8:30 P.M., it's not so relaxing. This is the last stretch of county road before it stops at highway 129. The same 129 as the infamous Deal's Gap, though it has a different personality here. The sun finally sank below the horizon in the west as the full moon rose over the trees in the east. Back to the grind in the morning, but it was nice to get out and clear my head this evening, and I really liking the Versys so far.
