I was just thinking as I started browsing OC that it might be time for a separate 1190 forum...and then I stumbled onto this thread.

Time for the 1190 to leave the nest.

So under that analogy, you should split orange crush, because the puerile drivel of the 1190 owners is taking over, you are contradicting yourself.

No kidding. Every few days someone new comes along, reads the first post and nothing more and adds a new reply :baldy. Maybe the mods will come along soon and put us out of our misery, oh, right they already did my making us sleep with those feelthy 1190 owners :D

Reading the "Why I cancelled my winter in Mexico" thread has me thinking maybe 990 and 1190 owners have more in common than I thought! :lol3

Can we split the forums between normal KTM owners and world traveler's who don't prepare, can't ask nicely for help and like to whine about it?

Yeah, I'm feeling the same way. Each time I log on I have to search through 1190 threads that have no interest to me. It's gotten to be too much. There is lot's of other good sections on here so the site is still of a great source of info.

But it seems muffin got all butthurt because someone criticized his RR and he's gone away to sulk. :rofl :rofl :clap

What's the big deal ? Already some of the 9xo guys have pitched in to help out the 1190 owners. As requested way back, if it involves the 1190 the threads title will mention that . Skip over it and look at the threads that your interested in. No one can be that lazy. There are at most two pages on OC at anyone time . When the replacement for the 1190 rolls out you can be sure the new bike will get the majority of attention. It's the way it is and always has been. Someday you guys might actually buy a 1190 and think about all the good info that will be available to you. Read the back post. It's been hashed and re-hashed and the decision has been made and posted here to leave OC combined

    Voice of reason! :deal

I seem to recall (not on this level) some whining when the 990's arrived. Luckily there was quite a bit of crossover.

Try scrolling for SE stuff,,, you don't see us SE owners whining we should have a separate section. :1drink

Shouldn't ridicule people for chiming in on this topic. If it wasn't a pertinent issue it would not have been brought up in the first place and have 18 pages of replies. It is a good idea to split. It's been done for the beemers and it's not a hard thing to do. Us 950/990 folks now have to wade through a lot of 1190 sludge. It's time.
