Have no fear, now that fall is falling and winter is soon to follow we'll be getting together more often.

Well I don't know about anyone else but I would sure like to go for a ride tomorrow. Haven't got my F800 back from the shop yet but I have my dad's KLR so if anyone else is free tomorrow I would like to go for a little cruise.

What time do you work? The fresh air directly into your face will be good for you! :D

Gotta be there at 8:30AM ... Some would say that's plenty of time to get a ride in before work but not this time for me.
    In summer, you betcha.

Hope you are feeling better Rick. I am likely riding Wednesday, weather should still be good.

Had a good ride, Dave joined us. We rode northwest of Springdale. We really hooked up on the wet hard packed granite up there, perfect conditions, obviously no dust. Bob wanted to get to a geocache at about 5000', we made it but some deep greasy mud toward the top where the snow had melted. Challenging, and fun. You would of liked it.

Sounds good, probably leave around 10 or 11, will have to firm things up tomorrow. Destination unknown at this point.

Brad, looks like you had a good time and you even got a feathery friend to hold still so you could get a picture of it.

Anyone else get out for a ride yesterday since the weather forecast indicated it was going to be the last good day for riding?

No pics but yeah, I took the Tenere out for a spin for a bit. Wound up out at Lone Wolf and took a Road Glide out for a test ride(if you call a mandated follow the leader 4 mile"can't go out on the freeway and have to stay below 50mph) a test ride. Afterwards, I took a Victory out for a spin. They gave me the keys, asked my general route, and told me to have a good time. I did!!

Rent the HD's and you can go wherever you want and for as long as the rental obviously. The dealer will let you apply all the rental fees to the purchase of a new machine if you find one you like. In my case it was precisely a Road Glide. They are the best riding machine Harley makes (but still no candle to my R1200GSA! :evil)

You looking for a new bike?

Last weekend AirheadBruce was trying to convince me I need a road bike. I probably do and someday when I become wealthy I'll have another one. The nice thing is right now I haven't found one that I think I have to have.

Let us know when you buy that new bike and be sure to show us pictures. :D
