Is the 800 back and running?
Not yet... Still waiting on just a few more parts. I will be driving there... boring!
Well, at least it's not July. Let's hope the boat from Germany arrives before then
How'd it go???
Sorry couldn't make it, but I was trashed when I got home from work and actually crashed on the couch for about an hour.....then was WORTHLESS for anything the rest of the night.
Out riding the ST today on W. Riverview Dr. in Post Falls? Think the wife and I passed you going the other way (alas, in the cage.) Really wishing my GSA wasn't buried in the shop behind way too much stuff to dig out right about now!
Yep, that was me, gotta ride now cause snow is on the way someday. I went into Spokane, kinda meandered around and ended up on the road in front of the Bowl and Pitcher park on the river. Nice putt, no wind down deep in the river canyon.
Explored a new motorcycle shop( to me anyway), just off Sprague and Division. Some really nice Urals there, talked to Steve for a while and sat on a couple. Think NoRa would know if one was parked in MY garage.....
Is that the shop that sells Gas Gas and Beta?
Yep, thats the shop. Steve claims that they can make any of their bikes street legal, even the 2 strokes. Lemme see, a 300cc, 200 pound bike would fly on road and off. Too bad I'm old and slow!.
Six of us showed up. The place was packed with more people then I've seen in there before. LB thought it was because it was Friday - Could be. Every day is about the same to me. The only way I know it's Saturday is because Ms treks does't go to work :eek1
Yeah I stopped by there a few months ago. I wish I could justify spending that much on one because that is one sweet machine! I have always preferred 2 smokes. They had a really nice Kawasaki H2(?) 500 triple in there too! :eek1
It get-together was fun. Too bad more folks couldn't make it. Jeff, it really was nice to see you and Wendy again. I clicked on your SA trip and just read through some of it. Wow! The video of you and Wendy riding down the Paso Cristo Redentor was fabulous! I can't get Nanc to ride up to Sand Point, ha ha! Would love to sit down and talk to you about that trip some time. Do you still own and ride the Beast?
It was fun to sit between LadyBug and Rick. Both always have great stories to tell. So thanks again to you all for showing up. Nanc really likes to meet up with everyone. Gives her the sense that I am not totally crazy...just partially.
For now, I do have the Beast. Come spring, I may see if anyone wants it more than me I just hate that it sits around in the garage most of the time. Wendy and I did take it up to Nakusp last fall for the HU event but that was the only time I rode it last year.
Anytime you want to talk about the SA trip let me know. It was a blast
It was great to see everyone last ngiht. That place sure does make huge pizzas. I had pizza for breakfast and likely will for dinner tonight too.
May have to talk about more than the trip.

But it also is...
So bite me.
Are you trying to make someone envious? I hope you are having a good time and you finally got DirtyGirl down there. You do have DirtyGirl with you don't you? Tell your family hi for me.
I would, but there's a lime in the way.
No, just letting you know I'm back. Robin couldn't make it (work), but it wouldn't have been a ride she would have liked. Roughly 170 miles of it was off road, and I will tell everyone you said hi. See you soon.
