OK Spo/CDA the thread has been posted: http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=843668 I'd sure like to see a good showing from my hometown group. Portland and Seattle have been showing you up I'm working on my guilting you into it skills....Is it working? Heck AirheadBruce has already posted his IN and if that's not enough incentive I don't know what else to give you. Did that work?
I hope everyone had as good of a Thanksgiving as Dale and Nanc did.
Hey at least the oil my KLR leaves road/trail side isn't anything critical like brake fluid.
Hey Ladybug, I just threw my hat into the ring for jells canyon, hasn't noticed it. Thanks for keepin me on my toes. I think I'm gonna take Donna this year.
jells canyon? You spell like I do.
I saw your IN and added you to the fun kids list.
Yesterday I took my 650 our for a little ride, topped off the gas tank, put stabalizer in, took it hope hooked it up to the trickle charger and said good night to it for the winter. It's a bear and
hibernates or maybe I'm a bear and hibernate for the winter - at any rate it's put away for the winter.
We need to have a meetup in the next week or two. Maybe up North since we seem to neglect our Northern friends.
Dale or MotoTrek any suggestions for a place up north for a meetup? Some where with plenty of seating, not completing with sports on big screen TVs, and where they won't try to rush us out. Oh yeah, good food too. :dg
On man, I need to start looking for my tent poles
Boy, that's a lot of requirements McClain's Pizzeria just opened up a several weeks back; good pizza and beer selection. There are TVs but no sound. If no TVs is a requirement then there is Fat Daddy's a mile or so north. They have a back room IIRC. I've seen groups at both places so I'm guessing we will be safe
Any other ideas Dale?
Nanc and I took the girls to McClains yesterday for pizza. It is good stuff! and the place wasn't crowded at all. I think that it would be a great place to meet up.
Fat Daddy's is a second great spot. I used to go there all the time. They have a much more diverse menu too. That back meeting area is a grand idea!
Find a good night or weekend day, and I'll even try to get Nanc to ride monkey for me in the sidecar!
Pizza and beer? I'm in. How about Friday night or Thursday night this week.
Btw damn autocorrect gets me.
Hawthorne and Division
SE corner behind the Shell Station
10208 N Division St, Ste 104
I found a few reviews and they were all good so it looks like this will work just fine. Let me know if the SW corner isn't correct and I will change it. That's where it look like it is on the map.
See you all Friday evening.
South East corner behind the Shell station Ladybug....
That intersection can be a BI*** at evening traffic so be careful, cages with idiots all around!!! Seen them run red lights both E/W and N/S...
Oops, 6:00 PM. I fixed it. I corrected the spelling on corner too.
Thanks. I updated it with the correct corner. Will you join us?
I'll drive my truck and clear a path for anyone that wants to follow See ya there. - Ms MotoTreks will be there too.
This is almost in my backyard! nanc and I'll be there! May even drive the hack in, depending on brakes and weather.
Depends on work....didn't get home till a little after 9 tonight. If I do, it's almost close enough to ride in shorts and not get cold....
I am going to be working in Leavenworth on Thu and Fri hopefully I can get back in time on Friday for the meeting.
I don't know if you've heard, but Joe Peak, owner of the Snakepit in Kingston, lost his 7 year battle with cancer on Saturday. Not sure what the future of the restaurant will be, but its heart and soul has passed on. Rest in peace, Joe.
I'm looking to plate a xr650r. Can anyone tell me what shop would be a good one for the inspection? Also have you run into any issues with getting this done?
I knew he'd really been having a rough go of it the last few years. Sorry to learn he lost. Thoughts going out to his family and friends.
How sad. He was a wonderful, valiant individual. My condolences to the family.
Just want to make sure no one forgets.
