I ride all over it's just the pile is 10 minutes from my house so super convenient. Laps around the perimeter are good conditioning......especially the long whoop section!
I might go poke around batey this weekend to see how it's looking snow wise.

Sweet, report back... I know the Pantra guys did a bunch of work on trails up at LPO this weekend, I think they did like 17 miles of trail clearing an maintenance. Get on the Pantra Facebook or forum and there was a posting that Tom Wuest put up with a report.

I'd meet you up at Batey, but I'll be at St. Maries all weekend camping. :clap

All of this nonsense is why I stick to urban hoolganing, both pedal and gas powered. Its more challenging and so long as you dont get caught, cheaper too:rofl

That sucks - why is it we always find out about these changes after the decision has been made.

I was out there a month or so back and that wasnt there. Had the park to myself - great place to practice riding skills.

I met your friend Larry last weekend. Turns out he is my landlord's brother. We were talking about the Rawhyde clinic at Westside and I mentioned the white 990 that was there and he said that was you. We are planning on doing some riding one of these weekends.

He does like to ride weekly :D

Got my forks back this week so maybe I'll have the 990 back up and running soon :thumb

Looks like you were out riding in the dark. I hope the night was clear so you were treated with the star filled sky. Death Valley is a fun place to visit when it's still cold and wintery here.

Yeah I was dodging Burros and Rabbits. It was pretty clear and there was supposed to be a meteor shower but it was still about 92 degrees and very windy. I had been riding since 9 that morning so I just wanted to get to my destination.

It was dark and cold when I went to work this morning but the good news was I finished work early enough to go for a ride.

A little over a hundred mile loop to check out how the snowmelt was flowing over some of the Dams along the Spokane River.

I did zag when I should have zigged and found myself on N. Wood Rd rather than Devils Gap Rd where I wanted to be. Since I had never been on Wood Rd I decided to find out where it went. That’s why I ended up on Hwy 2 and Reardan before getting back to the Spokane River. It’s fun to ride new roads even if they turn out to not be all that exciting.

Little Falls Dam. This dam is over a hundred years old and it amazes how it holds all the water it holds after all those years. The arched bridge isn’t holding up as well as the dam though.

Long Lake Dam when built in 1915 it was the world’s highest spillway dam.

I guess I should have taken a picture of my bike. :lol3
