And it looks like it will be the last time to ride in the dry for awhile.
Went for a ride to the top of Steptoe Butte today for the first time. Was a beautiful view, but pretty hazy. I will have to return again to see it on a clear day. Perfect riding temperature today though!
Did this guy make it to Ellensburg yet? My brother is driving over there tomorrow, and has a pickup. I can ask him if he would be willing to give him a lift.
3 Day Get A Way....
One of my favorite local areas.... AVERY, ID.
Destination Blue Haven...
The cabin is a first come first served... The guys knocked but nobody was there but a dog... A few minutes passed and the inhabitants showed up on 4 wheelers/SxS. They were out bow hunting but came home back empty handed. Asked them about the cedar grove we decided to visit and pointed us in the right direction...
A little rock skipping....
FUN! Fun! fun!
Great to see you today Don. Thanks for stopping by.
Looks like fun in the Avery area.
It was like a mini TTT....
Wow! It looks like you had an awesome ride and covered a lot of ground. How many days did you take do it?
Blue Haven and the cedars was about a 7hr ride and we only covered 75 +/- miles. Stopped for a little shooting practice included.
Sunday we just explored.
I'm a little sad...i just put the thermal liner in my jacket. It's a touch cold at 4:30 in the morning!
I've been sick for about three weeks now. For a while I was too plugged up to ride, couldn't hear and was just weak. Still sick, getting better, but the last days of warm weather went by me while I was producing lung butter.
Next ride will involve liners, heavy gloves, heated grips and seat.
I maybe storing up the bikes this weekend.. lol.. this will be my 2nd real winter here or in snow. I do not look forward to it. feels like we really get 3 months of good weather out of the year. The rest is cloudy, rainy, and snow. :/
Try Seattle then see if this still looks bad.
Dude its just getting non dusty is all. Time for bigger knobbies and better traction. If the weather holds off on the snow we will be out and about
Riding is not over. I'm riding to Montana Sunday around 11am and riding back Tuesday morning.
What ouch? I mean IT RAINS ALL THE FRIGGIN TIME over there!!
Sheesh....Seattle and Spok-a-loo just went 80 days w/o rain....
Got snow yesterday on my mtn tops...Where is our Indian Summer?.Maybe next week?
And that is a total freak of nature anomaly in the Jet City. Lived there for 15 years.
The 7o's are on the way back. Don't let go of summer yet!!
