SO... anybody get out for a turkey day ride? I did! 53 degrees, it was perfect... until it rained cats and dogs : )

    Still better than staying home!

Another 'immigrant' here, and I had to chuckle a little when I read bpowa's post. 35%? Heck, I make more like 50% less than comparable positions in CA. For a 'fringe' inhabitant like me, the cost of living is cheaper here, but not by 50%. I live on the cheap pretty much, but there's a level I'm not willing to go below (indoor plumbing, that kind of thing), so there's a limit to how cheap a man can live.

Spokane, however, and No ID is growing on me, except for this whole winter thing, and I do love being a (small) part of my kid's lives. I still gotta find a cheap winter activity so's I don't go bonkers soon....

It is!! It's my daily commuter to work during the summer. I have had it 4 1\2 years and never get tired of riding it. I have another set of wheels and tires for off road riding.

Hey guys, could use a little advice. Thinking about doing the Orange Kool-Aid thing (1290 SA-R)-assuming someone steps up and buys a couple of my existing hosses. Both CDA Powersports and Dave Russell are dealers. Any experience with who would be the better to work with, especially after the sale? Russell is a bit bit cheaper and more focused on the brand but CDA is handier for me. I wasn't impressed with the sales person I talked with at CDA. Thanks.
