Well for now I'll share the name here. :D If you can find it PM me though, :deal because I want to use it for a tag when they replace the sign. If you can find it I'll buy lunch near the south end of it when you ride it. :dukegirl But maybe you buy if you can't find it? :dunno

Buzzard Rock Road that's your only hint. :scratch

You think you can find it with out the sign? I'll ride it with you, who's buying the lunch? Anyone I know? I bought as new used bike today, need to test ride it.

Old picture taken before crossing into Washington from highway D.

New picture is a gravel road with around 5 or 6 low water crossings in St. Charles county. This is on Callaway Fork Rd. between Highway F and D.

Fun little twisty gravel road. All low water crossings are dry at the moment but will fill after a rain.

I'm surprised nobody has snagged this; fairly easy to get to and the weather has been great.

Callaway fork is a good road. And tied into more good roads so it will be picked up at some point. I have the stupid "work thing" that gets in the way of riding :( .

You guys are closer to retirement than me. 10 years from Jan. 3, 2018 so soon to be single digits years. How about this: "Have a goal and a plan for the future. A goal without a plan is a wish."

Damn cold today. Wind had real bite. Reminded me of my Wisconsin youth, on Sno machines!

Found the tag, great road and area. Been here many times. Last night's rain didn't do much to creek levels, still mostly dry:

New tag: Back to Illinois, Found this earlier this fall, and thought it would make a good tag. No one seems to have taken this, so here it is:

Hopefully someone can get this before winter sets in too much. Awesome history about this place. At one time this was the furthest West one could go in the US. Might as well have been on Mars, it was so remote. Much of the stone structure has been pilfered and was used for other projects, including the construction of STL Eads Bridge.

    Quite appropriate given today's date.

I've been by that place on two wheels (self propelled) more often than I have on four.
