    Hello two wheeled Montanans,
My R1150R and I are planning to ride through Montana this summer. I have lived in Hamilton, Missoula, Bozeman, and Emigrant but I did not own a motorcycle then. I live in Colorado Springs now and will ride into Yellowstone through Beartooth Pass, then to Bozeman, the Missouri River at Craig (big trout and beer at Craig Bar) then onto Libby. Finally, down to Missoula, Hamilton (I just got to eat at Naps) down through Wisdom, and out of Montana to Salt Lake. If you know of any roads I should not miss, I would appreciate a reply. Thanks, I miss Montana, Roger

That's the way would go in this neck of the woods. If you need a tour guide, tire change, or a place to stay, holler out.

That is a gorgeous ride. Continue from Noxon east along 200 through Thompson Falls (lots of Big Horn sheep always in the road) to Paradise then South on 135 to St. Regis and I90. Hwy 135 is spectacular!

Finally made it to Montana last year. Took me 62 years to get there. Good people. Had a damned good time. Beautiful country.

    Howdy! From Texas/Colorado!!!!

I really enjoyed your state. I reckon if I ever leave Alamosa it'll be for someplace close to Lake Mary.

    Look for a G.O.D.S.

So, is mother nature toying with us or is this winter starting to break up?

Big snows should be done; but there will still be snow until mid-March-ish :bluduh

This next week should warm up and melt the snow a bit. I still have over a foot in my yard.

I finally braved the driveway and went for a ride up to Libby dam. Main roads were in good shape, just wet in places. I should have stayed on them.
