When you back biotch? Lost ur digits on A phone update f up....
Got to imagine it will be brain cooking hot out there for another couple months. We were lucky to have late afternoon breezes when we got to camp a couple weeks ago.
yeah it get obnoxiously warm out there.... I wouldnt mind waiting a few weeks for it to cool down. I have too many other things on my plate at the moment, anyways.
Once it cools off..... the big bikes ride.....
We moved but you're still close to my heart BigT. "Are you for camping?" I'm pretty fond of the over-nighter weekend trip these days but, my riding streak will die down the next few weeks with a garage sale, kids' birthday parties, yada yada yada.
I hear ya Rob. Get out and explore. There are so many amazing nooks and crannies up and down our beautiful coastline. I'm in love with CA all over again.
There's ocean under them clouds.
Congratulation on the move, are you still by the beach? All good for the camping, one night, weekend rides. Was at the Outdoor Retailer show last week and picked up all the latest greatest gear. Klymit has some sleeping pads that are insane. They gave me one of their newest that packs and rolls up to the size of a beer can. Can't wait to try it out.
Yeah, just another 10min away.
Damn, my pillow is that size. My lease is up on my loaner camp gear so I may have to invest soon. I'm on the fence with a 20* or 0* synthetic bag. The 20* has been perfect with the exception of a couple cold nights BUT, I learned later that I was wearing way too many layers for body heat to emanate. So, maybe the 20* is fine.
I was looking for an overnight ride this weekend but it's so damn hot I think I'm heading for the river instead................
How about Big Bear? Wifey wants to go see some friends that just bought a place on the lake. I would love to show up Sunday morning covered in dirt and grime for brunch on their deck.
Aww, that sounds cool but I'm leaving for the river tonight. I don't have summer gear together yet so I roast picking up the Gs on that BB single track. There were a couple riders that flaked earlier that mentioned Bear so I'll hit you up when we actually go!
Next time .... and by the way, we don't ride the single tracks up there, our bikes are too big
I guess I forgot to put in the smiley to indicate sarcasm. There.
I rode Vista on the 8gs... is that 'single track'? I don't want to get slammed for sharing, but I'm pretty proud of myself for making it through there by myself. It was one of my more gnarly experiences on this bike. You guys have ridden with me. I'm no superman. Pretty amazing what these bikes will do with a mere mortal on board. On another ride, I watched a giant Canuck (even bigger than you, T!) get a 990adv airborne over a log and make it look like a trials bike. He has some single track videos on that bike too. It's all relative I guess.
Big Bear overnighter soon. I love our little island in the sky.
Nothing but Starbucks runs for me for the next month + . Time to heal up, not a wreck, just need to mend.
So if'n you guys are doing just street rides I am up for that.
Not too hot up in the mountains before 10am...
you lose the man bike?
Wow, where did that ride come from? Browneye better check his garage this morning.
Man, it's even hot at the beach ... spent all day in the water yesteday and looks like more of the same today. Wifey wants to go to BB but there is still good swell running ... sorry wifey
Dang stu, you the man running those slicks and taking fire roads. Hope Triumph treats their customers with respect unlike Irv Seaver BMW.
Demo from Doug Douglas in Berdoo... 1050 Tiger in the shop for service.
The new tiger is the shiznit.
Our central air unit died yesterday...only 97 degrees. A six thousand dollar day.
AC compressor and furnace are only about 40 years old.
EDIT: Anybody got a good residential HVAC guy in Orange County?
A/c party in the driveway in the rv?
