A few SA Adv Riders got together on a warmish but slightly windy day to dash through the drying South Ozzie Mallee north east of Adelaide to Morgan & back.

As "The Dominator of single tracks"

CharlieW organised some great new & interesting roads/tracks with options to challenge the more adventurous with single tracks along side.

For those that wanted a Macca in the morning we all gathered at "M" Golden Grove

Then it was ChrisB's (KTM 640) turn to lead us through the potential perils of Mt Crawford State Forest, successfully avoiding the ever increasing presence of "off road police patrols" on their nearly aquired dirt bikes

"I know the tracks north of Sanderston well from screamin' me DRZ over them" said bwvtom (tiger).........follow me!

Unsure of the fuel range of the 250 bike, us "oldies" were happy to take a break while Dave topped up at Cambrai

The Classic Riding Style of a qualified Riding Instructor clearly shows

Pity you can't see the huge grin on Dave's face as he flies by......................(however that was to change for a split second later on)

    Look.....it's a tiger

Anyone would thinks it's winter with all that gear on......:knary

At an intersection near Round Plain north east of Dutton, the leaders took a moment to pray................................
or I think that's what they said they were doing.......................:augie :cromag

Then we were off again, much to the jubilation of the riders following :wings

We were also thankful for the cross wind to carry the dust away

    Oh! No! not again.......................................:mully.:cromag

    At least it's a shady mallee tree........:knary

Time to admire the fabulous native :bow... "TDM views" :raabia...................... errr & scenery :rayof

Fangin' it CharlieW rushes by :2guns

Not to be outdone by "the oldies" with the whisper of dust trailing

Dave looks like a star now, but when he found the only mud patch in the whole trip earlier, he had got that excited
he couldn't control himself and had to wave all his arms & legs frantically simultaneously in all directions with joy...... :evil

That's his story & he's sticking too it :deal

Ah! isn't she a beauty in flight :jkam

Next stop the Mt Mary Hotel and while we all dismounted ......................

"You know there's new owners at the Morgan pub we should give that a try!"

"Wow! can you really do that on a Domie?"

    EEE!!!....HAAAA!

"Look.................. that's standard practice for KTM's"

    "Still thirsty work though!"

    Morgan for a great lunch

    The parkin' lot

As some had to get back early we followed the "notsomighty" Murray south and back to civilisation.

'til next time stay safe & upright

    Cheers

    Well done!

Great to see the SA dudes out there having fun.
Some very familiar watering holes there too! :1drink

Maybe we need another 'beer night' 'bonding session' at the Avoca next Thursday night?

I'll put the word out on the other thread! About 7pm as usual. Those that wanna eat can.

    Hopefully you can make it.

    Cheers,

    Pete
