My gray 2012 DR650 was stolen from my house last night. The key was not in it and the handle bars were locked( I know that does not mean much). I was home at the time but did not hear anything. I'm the original owner and the bike has about 7400 miles on it. I did a few mods to it and they are as follows:
    Power Madd handle bar riser
Lower foot pegs, not sure of the brand
    Heavy shock spring
    Heavy straight rate fork springs
    Aluminum Skid Plate
Seat Concepts seat kit, extra 2" higher
Also had the Walmart seat pad on it
    New rear Kenda 270 tire
Front is a K270 with 7400 miles, never got around to changing it
I'm located near Greenville, North Carolina. I reported it in Edgecombe County and I also talked to the Pitt County Sheriff's Dept.
If anyone hears anything please PM me.
    Thanks,
    Eddie

Obviously, keep an eye on craigslist. I'll watch for it on the Raleigh site.

    Fuckers!!

I will keep an eye out in the Fayetteville Area.

Sad thing is they have a habit of stripping the lights off of dual sports and ride them as dirt bikes.

Hope they find it before it's too late.

Nothing yet on my bike. I have contacted Suzuki dealers and given my info and VIN. May be something will turn up.

Hopefully the f****r will go into a corner to fast and that worn front tire let loose:D

Anyway I hate to ask, but assume insurance will cover some it? Thieves suck!!!

Unfortunately, I only had Liability Insurance on the bike so I have no coverage. Home Owners would not touch it. Sucks for me.

Post the VIN #, that way even a quick Google on the VIN will come up as a stolen bike.

Make sure when you insure your bike, in addition to Liability get Comprehensive. It is dirt cheap and it covers theft, fire, deer accident damage.
