Maybe the lady who lived above the cottage I stayed in last year, next to the liquor store?

I really wish I could make it this year. I had intentions too but my riding buddy will be deployed during then. We hope go make it back in the fall.

Glad to see my sleeping wee made it into the photo collage!

Thanks ADVrider, and a special thanks for you group of BYOBERS 2015 Matewan, West By God,Virginia and you scouters and friends I have riden with that made it all possible. And a super thanks to ADV MOTO Magazine and the editors. I began the dream of The Real McCoy Trails 5 years ago but without the great people involved with the Dual Sport Adventure Tourism Industry these trails may have never been recognized. Last but not least I want to thank by good friend Don Childress, Boone NC at DLrides.com Don has been riding these trails I call The Real McCoy Trails for several years on a KTM 950. Not sure how to Thank Little Dog and Chris Chirico and his brother Steve for choosing this region for BYOB 2015.

:clapNEW UPDATE :clap The town council of Matewan has agreed to provide camping free of charge for the entire week of the Stolen Pig Rally for riders with dual sport street legal adventure bikes. This offer does not pertain to 4 wheelers and strictly dirt bikes that are NOT street legal. Trail permits provided by Hatfield McCoy Trails is also free. The only cost is a 10 buck registration fee for the entire week. Interested in riding Hatfield McCoy Country and any of the 600 miles of off road dirt trails of Trails Heaven, Hatfield McCoy Trails plus The Real McCoy Trails now is your opportunity. Such a deal may never be available again. There will be a guided and narrated tour available for those interested in the Hatfield McCoy Feud sites which most are on some awesome B Top as well as some dirt/gravel roads and all located within 10 miles of Matewan camp base. This offer is made possible by the town of Matewan and The Hatfield McCoy Trail authority to introduce and promote dual sport adventure riding in the region for street legal dual sport adventure motorcycles.

:clapSounds great. Friday and Saturday our plans are to have a couple or 3 local entertainers just before and after dark. About 8:30pm during the bonfire activities we will be supplying bacon "All You Can Eat" for you guys to roast on the fire for late night munchies. We will have plenty of sticks available. My wife Kathy picked up a huge box of the bacon today for my approval and it passed. It has been cherry smoked and the thick pre sliced bacon. I think we may have found the stolen pig.:clap Firewood has been chopped and ready.
