It is not only ironic (of course it is, and even more: is cynic), but on top of it: it is efficient! Too many threads and people wondering what the spaniard wanted to say!! :clap

Living on this business is not easy, my friends but I do and can even get press bikes for free. :rofl

Take a ride on the wild side and do not look to much at the ADV forum!

Ok, lets go with a short ride in the Masai Mara just to show how to ride among zebras!

I can not imagine taking the time out of a great ride for taking a lot of pictures and writing a blog.
I did do long trips, and took some pictures from time to time, but never would think about writing it all up and posting it real time.

I am glad some people do, its interesting to read, but seems like a lot of work.

Oh, this a real good stuff! how many real adventurers looking at this thread. I am honored by this warm welcome:rofl:rofl:rofl

More about showing off! I have already posted in ride tales, but why not posting it again to explain the difference between riding for yourself into the wild or riding to the pall mall wearing your beautiful adventure gear :rofl:rofl:rofl

A trip into Iraq is not like going into the next cafe for a good capuccino!

I think what his point is is that coming to a forum and posting about your exploits is showing off and the most important part is the ride. UNLESS you have a blog, books and videos to hawk.

Or maybe the guy has no sense of irony.

Yes, for sure, social exposure is a business for me. My ego just need money to ride. If I don not get attention there is not money to come and not free motorcycles to borrow :rofl:rofl:rofl

For example, this is the bike I got for free from BMW Motorrad Canada.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tEujbSHFGaM&list=UUc-TIZAU7WfHHzjWkZ32wsg&index=3&feature=plcp

Some other bikers should be waiting sitting on their asses meanwhile their bikes arrive from a long shipment, but thanks to you, watching at my videos, I can say: he, man, lend me a 20.000$ bike for 10 days because I am a fxxxk guy from a Third Word Country but I make people laugh meanwhile I get stuff for free.:rofl:rofl:rofl

But anyway, my bike is already here and the lazy free time to spend with computer is over

Wow, what a wonderful bike. See you someday, mates, do not forget to watch my videos. My Youtube channel is my passport to the free bikes all over the World!:freaky:freaky:freaky

His trip is awesome, he has more than 85 videos uploaded into Youtube --> http://m.youtube.com/user/miquelsilvestre68 apart from this excerpt.

Miquel's motto is to follow the paths of the historic spanish explorers -mostly forgotten nowadays- that conquered/discovered many places around the world, and at the same time he also emulated, by land onboard a BMW motorcycle, the XVIII's century Malaspina seaship expedition.

We all owe a lot to his effort for bringing back these lost memories IMHO

    Keep on riding Miquel! :clap

The reason motorcycle racing is so pure is because there is no need for explanation of the results.
