Valencia could be an option too.

I've got space in my garage space just outside Barcelona. (15 minutes from the city centre) It's not covered but it's secure. PM if you're interested.

Leave it at el Prat Airport, nobody will bother with it.Tourist/villa owners leave their bikes there for months(terminal 1 best).Put a weather cover over it!

I'm south of Pau 64000 in France...I have a solid gated drive and outbuildings therein.

You can ride to Barcelona in 6 hrs(400kms).

Pau has an airport as does Lourdes/Tarbes. Both 35mins drive from my home.Pau also has a BMW dealer and a few other moto shops.

I'm retired with kids so there's always someone about the place.

It can stay with a tarp over it and I can start it frequently if need be,along with my XTZ Ténéré.

    As you want.

    All the best

I am going to open this thread again because I may be in need of storage in Barcelona or perhaps Valencia in Oct 2017. I will be attending the Horizon's Unlimited Mountain Madness in Mora de Rubielos (http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/events/humm-spain-2017). I had planned to ride to and from the event from my place in Germany. However, I work on contract and I have been offered a good contract (in Hawaii) starting right after this event ends. Would anyone be willing to watch my bike for a few months? I just need to be able to drop the bike and fly out of a decent sized airport to Frankfurt. I can come pick it up in spring when the weather is good enough to drive it back to Germany.

    Hello,
talk to Susan, their cooperation partner Simon (inmate The Spanish Biker) can maybe organize that. Other possibilities are dealers and motocycle rental places. I once stored my bike with www.motoadventours.com in Malaga, which is in a nice riding area with direct flights to FRA.

By the way, I also signed up for the HUMM, and plan on riding there. What are your plans?

    Pip

Thanks Pip I will email Susan and see if she has any ideas. Storing in Malaga is a good back-up plan. I have work obligations through Sep 23rd. I will start heading south for the HUMM on the 24th. I have barely ever ridden in France so I am still trying to make a plan. If your timing is similar, we should talk. I am only about 1 hour away from you in Germany.

We can offer safe bike storage (and lodging) near Flix, Tarragona (2hrs 20mins drive to BCN). It costs just €16 on the train to Barcelona from here.
