If anyone in the Arcata, Eureka area could help out with a battery for my friend Dan Driver, he would make it worth your while. He is stuck in Arcata till Monday as no shops or dealers are opened on Sundays.

If you have a spare battery which would a 2010 KTM SMT, I would think that a ADV battery would work. He is wiling to either pay a premium for any battery that will fire his bike up and get him home tomorrow. Otherwise he is stuck till Monday.

If you are able to help, please call or text Dan Driver: 415-710-5124. He is at the Days Inn in Arcata.

    Thanks in advance.

The Wal Marts usually have motorcycle batteries.

Try the one down in Eureka

Can he get a jump and ride it all the way getting gas while running?

They found a battery in an auto-parts store.
Bike was running... and they were on their way home.

Thanks TO Bruce for wanting to help out. Due to the unusually small battery that the KTM had, for some reason Kragen happened to have an ATV or powersports battery which fit perfectly.

The ride back was delayed, but a whole lot more fun than Uhaul-ing a dead bike back instead!
