I had the top insert spinning on the left hand fuel tank while stripping it down for some maintenance- The one the upper fairing secures to. It ended up coming out so now I need to get it back in and glue it in place. What is a good epoxy or something similar that can be used on the fuel tank? Any advice on how to get it back in? Thanks!

He spun the whole insert with a drill inside its housing. As things got hot, plastic melted and then glued back.
    Hope it helps.

The tank is fiber glass enforced nylon. Zip-ties are nylon. You could partially fill the hole with melted nylon, then heat the insert and .... insert.
