stupid question?????????

    im sorry if this has been covered before, but i cant find a thread on it anywhere. why are some hack's on the left side, and some on the right? all the one's i see around here are on the right, but i've noticed on the site some pic's of them mounted on the left. please let me know. thanks.

    That would depend on what side of the road you ride on.. :deal If the chair is on the left of your outfit, you ride on the left side of the road.. You can see around other traffic and your sidecar is closest to the shoulder of the road..

    Over here in the UK we drive on the left.

    Since 1986 all new registered combinations have had to be with the sidecar on the left over here.

    There`s no statistical evidence to back up the decision but if you think about it,it sort of makes sense....as it keeps the sidecar away from meeting oncoming traffic head-on,and prevents the rider from having to be in the gutter all the time.
