Those guys get trapped in a circular fashion around a block of mirrored glass buildings with their heads at constant right angles to their bodies.

People park their cars on the sidewalk around here (they all have garages, of course). Specifically, they seem to enjoy parking directly above the plumbing from the water main into their houses. :dunno

I guess that the Berkeley Hills residents didn't learn their lesson after that 1991 firestorm. People have already died since then, because there just isn't enough room for the fire department or the EMS guys to maneuver their equipment to the scene of an emergency. The fire department has even raised that concern and asked the City of Berkeley to restrict street parking so that they can save those residents' lives, and those very same residents have taken umbrage at the idea that they ought to start parking in their garages. I think that the residents' exact suggestion was that it's the fire department's fault for having such large vehicles and that they need to purchase special engines in order to save said residents from their own shitty landscaping (lots of eucalyptus trees and lots of dead eucalyptus piled up under high decks).

A fat lady on a scooter yelling at the guy on crutches because he parked his car in the next space over and she can't get her scooter to her car... I was the guy on crutches and her exact words were "fine I guess I'll just walk"

When I ripped my foot in half my wife had the doctors send my meds to the walmart pharmacy. Since she was at work and I was in pain I went to get them with 3" of snow on top of packed ice I carefully made my way on crutches to the front door. As I was attempting to stay upright long enough to get to the wheelchair a fat woman "ran" around me and plopped her fat ass down in the chair and just smirked at me as she drove off.

Yeah, but with 26 fractures in my right foot and over 12" of torn skin stapled and sewn back together I would have ridden a fucking goat if it was offered. Instead it took me 20 minutes to hobble to the pharmacy and back to the truck. The docs spent 6 hours in surgery building a foot from the parts they had and it's not a very good foot, but I'm mostly thankful they were able to save it. That's a story for another day though :)

Sounds like a painful story. One, with which I am somewhat familiar.

In all fairness, it does look like a 5th grade art project.

Short version: standing on seat riding wheelies on my DRZ400 when the rear fender started dragging on the pavement. I spooked and tried to get it back down (hard to dab the rear brake while standing on the seat) I was only going about 15 mph, but my foot ended up between the pavement and the swingarm which crushed the bones and ripped the boot and foot in half.

It wasn't on public roads, just my own parking lot. Lessons in stupidity are expensive and painful. This happened 12 years ago and still hurts every minute of every day.
