    Hello,

My son and I would like to get together with other riders from the Sudbury area to do some dual sport riding. Nothing too serious 2 to 4 hour rides typically.

I'm also in the Sudbury area, and fairly new to the sport. I've never had the chance to go riding around with anyone else, when the snow melts we'll have to go for a rip :evil

Count me in as well, if you plan a get together this could be a good opportunity to meet people with similar machines.

I'm certainly looking forward to this riding season.

    Cheers

For all you Sudbury riders, you should come down to the Ride Manitoulin Motorcycle Rally this summer. Yeah, so far it's mostly the pirate crowd, but on Saturday (July 19) we have an Adventure Ride. Nothing too serious, just touring the island's back roads. Riding is mostly pavement, gravel and maybe a dirt road.

It would be a good time to meet other riders in the area.

Until I can find another bike I'm in for the more touring oriented rides. The Uly loves dirt roads... not much of a bush basher though!

I'm always up for a ride.... if I can get away from home!

If anyone knows someone selling a 640 or 950 Adventure let me know!

I'm new to Sudbury area, but not ADVriding. It would be great to get out riding with some local riders and get to know the area. The Skidoo is officially put away and the bikes are fired up and ready to go! Now if it will ever stop snowing we can get some miles on them.

I spent the afternoon in the garage yesterday with the bikes. Well, actually spent the afternoon in the garage looking for my Hella HID's. Moving sucks!

But in the span of about an hour, I saw a guy on a quad, a guy on sportbike and a couple on a ski-doo. All at the same intersection. Welcome to Northern Ontario.

Looks like we've lost about half of our snow cover and it's supposed to be even warmer today. WOOT! Bring it, now all we need after that is a good hard rain and I'll have the bikes out!

Give it a good rinse after you come back. Theirs a pile of salt on the roads (they salted some spots again last night).

My buddy and I are likely heading up to the Grundy Lake hwy 522 area on May 2,3,4th for some riding. We usually make the trip 2-3 times a year. If anyone want to meet up for some trail riding that weekend let me know. We could set something up.

Id' be in for that, except I'll be down in WV that weekend. I'm guessing that that area is pretty sloppy that time of year.

heheh.. Grundy Lake.. site of the Mtn. House Freeze Dried Strogonoff Bomb.

I began my 2014 riding season today, completed 120 km on old highway 17 out to Whitefish and back in around Sudbury...Beautiful. Very cautious with my first time out, all the gravel and my new K60 on the front position. Bike feels fantastic!

Weather doesn't look too promising over the next week, however lets try to hook up at some point?
