I just got mine delivered and fitted it, man what a difference... It sounds awesome.. I can't praise it enough and in oz it was half the cost of the akro n the akro was quiet..

Did you get your T-shirt to?
My wings is still in the box. Will fit it next week some time.
Wings say no remap is required. Do you concur?

This is the shortie. Very happy with both build quality and sound. Throttle response seems unchanged from stock as expected.

hi This wings short exhaust weighs less by 6.5kgs from OE exhaust,
    2.0kgs less than Akrapovic
    getting two diff baffles .
Still i feel there is a great scope for reducing weight & better sound

    cheers guys..

The shortie is loud, I put the baffle back in (large insert) because after a 40min ride with my icon ventilated helmet, (after flight training to 2500ft) my ears ringed..

Although it funny to watch people in the cbd standing around smoking and talking walk far away as soon as you start it :rofl

Even with the baffle in its a nice note and still 3 times louder than stock + deep and throaty.. (it takes 30 seconds to take it out or put it back unlike the akro)

I don't have an 1190, but I just recently bought Wings exhausts for my 990 SMT directly from the factory (since I'm in the US and they don't have a rep here)
Box got to my house in 1 week! And they included a t-shirt. :thumb

for me the main reason (other than the sound) would be to get the pipe out of the way. I ride quite technical stuff and I had a mild off and the Akro was fubared. The 990 design is much more protected - I don't mind the one pipe but it has to be moved....

    Hello.
Why did you decide to take standard one (instead short one)? Is it possible that too short exhaust muffler make some "bang" noise when you close the trotle?

    Thanks.
