    Thanks, Hobo. The trouble with being in my position is that you are usually old. Being old isn't all bad, but times running out for riding like this.

    Sorry my friend, but you're wrong. Retire sooner = more time to ride, or whatever (fill in the blanks). Getting old isn't all that great, but it beats the alternatives.

    I'm a year behind on reading ride reports. I just finished this one and wanted to say thanks! I used to live and work in some of the areas you rode through and took pictures of. Made me miss them.

    .. and thought i'd check in and say how impressed i am of your journaling! what a way to "remember that one time..". very cool! keep it up, it's greatly entertaining to read on a day like today. it's was nice to forget about the t.v. when i came across your adventures!
