Well nuts - I just got back from a ride. Was a whole lot colder than I thought it would be. I went pretty much due West. Went by that Flying Circus from the tag o rama. As I road by I thought it was an interesting place for an airfield, then I realized what it was.

I told myself to check ADVrider before i left, but I brain farted.

Yes, I'll try to get word out a little sooner, one of those last minute ideas. Nice riding weather today...

Its hard to plan these kind of trips in advance.
But keep posting - maybe I'll see one in time to go.

I rode quite alot (at least for me) this weekend > 400 miles.
Need to look at some tires soon. I saw a post where
you said you had new tires. Do you like what you
    have? Are they scorpions?

One of the reasons I went for the tag today is because
I could tell you weren't going after it - based on your
time line to get out of town.

I saw your post, but I was getting ready to leave Lake Anna. We had a big party for my granddad's 80's B-day. Killed 2 kegs. It was a good party. :D

MEFO Explorers. They're pretty good on gravel and hardpack and I've heard they can rack up a lot of miles. I'm thinking of these for a trip to the TransLab in 2010 or 11. Until then I might try a less aggressive tire for all around riding.

Hmmm, 2 kegs, I know where I'd have gone :beer
