Going to cheer for the Niners, you have to cheer for the team that put your team out. Good luck Niners.

I'm not sure that's the way it works, but I'm with you. I'm hoping the 49ers beat the Ravens by forty points.

I tend to do the same thing because I see losing to the eventual champs as more worthy than losing to the team that doesn't get the trophy. :deal

I like the Ravens because I don't think the kid has earned it yet. He's made some plays but Flacco and Lewis & Co. have paid some dues.....

And if he sprains an ankle and they call Smith into the game, Smith should say, "Ya know, I think I have a headache, I'd better not.........."

Funny how the Cowboys have been mentioned more in this thread than the Niners or Ravens. Force of habit, I suppose.

The Cowboys vs. the Texans! An all Texas Superbowl! His will be done!!!

I'm pulling for the Niners. Jerry (Moonbeam not Jones) needs the money!

That is interesting. Here in NM Cowboy Fans generally hate SF, consider them on par with the Eagles. -- The Cowboys are the most popular team here, and I know exactly one Cowboy fan cheering for SF.

I'm cheering for SF as the whole Ray show makes me nauseous. :puke1

I'm routing for Jim to payback John for all those wedgies when they were little, in a big way. Maybe even a reach around yank at the conclusion too. Since Jim likes dramatic handshakes.

The only team I hate on par with the Eagles are the Redskins. Niners aren't my team, but I like 'em more than the Ravens.

The Ray show make me puke too.

I'll probably DVR the superbowl. Too many damn commercials now.

Or just go to a local bar and get piss drunk with the crazies around here.

Are we even allowed to discuss "the big game" by using its real name, without fear of retribution by the NFL? :ear

BTW- Even though I'm a Californian first, I'm going with the Ravens because we already have enough attitude in this state. The last thing we need is another bicep kissing 20-something...

Pursuant to our fanatic and sometimes insane devotion to football, we are requesting that you cease and desist using the term "the big game." You are hereby notified that if you do not comply with this request, some heavy shit is gonna come down. Civil and criminal claims will be pursued.
