Thanks for tie pics of the TDM, looks in good shape for a 92, looks good enough to go to Prudhoe Bay and back. I guess the way it looks in the pic will be about the way it will when we go to Alaska, except the bags will be more stuffed.
Coming up are current pics of the VXA.

I have a long way to go on the Tiger. Finally got rid of the funny noise. It was either the Cushdrive bearing or chain and sprockets or a combo of all of the above. The chain was straight hot garbage.

OK guys, here is a nearly completed VXA, Need the front tire, the Rotopax fuel container and a few miner things I'm going to add. Be sure to check out the front fender, the radiator is now well protected.

One of the last things I did to it was lower the back end 3", I can now set on it with both feet flat on the ground.

By lowering the rear, I had to do some heat and bending to the side stand, which I also like better than the way it was.

The rack on top of the trunk and the side bag supports turned out great.

It took me about 2 weeks to decide how I wanted to make a guard, I changed my mind several times before I came up with this simple Plan.

I have decided on a simple but solid mounting that will be clean and look good, to allow removing the guard to clean the light in seconds, and it wont be these bungees.

Got to be able to save the hand on long trips, and this will do the job.

The bulbs were all working, but have no idea how old they are, the spark plugs looked alright, put in all new bulbs and plugs and I think it's reasonable to beleave they will make it to Prudhoe Bay and back.

Got the light guard mounted so that it only takes seconds to remove to clean the light.

A nut is mounted inside so that all I have to do is remove the two bolt which I remove from a old lawnmower some time back, knowing that I would use them someday.

We all know that we need other places to put out feet on long trips, so I got another pair of dirt bike pegs for another foot location, fits me fine.

I made them spring loaded so they stay folded in, put my feet back on them and they fold right out.

The soles of my shoes hang on them without falling off, so I don't have to use any effort to keep my feet on them.

I had posted a pic of the front fender extension, but not up very close, this gives a better view.
