Hi Charles, unfortunately I have to pass on this trip this year, my broken wrist is recovering very slowly and won't be ready full strength by May, and I will probably go to California for work around that time anyway. Disappointed because this was a great week last year.

Odds on for some decent weather. Some of the trails would be quite a challenge if it is still as wet in May as it is at the moment.

For those of you that have not yet confirmed here is an outline itinerary which is now a little different from what has been discussed previously:

Monday 14th May: Groups depart from campsite at Cherveix Cubas (vans and trailers can be left at the campsite). Package price for camping, evening meal and breakfast arranged with the owner. There may be other routes starting from Cubjac if some groups are camping there. Day 1 routes vary between about 130km and 250km to Sarlat where we camp fairly close to the town centre.

Tuesday 15th May: Groups depart Sarlat (breakfast and fuel in town), all routes go via Rocamadour and arrive St. Cere. Campsite is a 5min walk to town centre and restaurants. Fuel up in the evening.

Wednesday 16th May: Depart St. Cere. It is market day and breakfast can be a bit slow so probably best to get something from a bakery. Destination not yet fixed but somewhere in the Dordogne Valley around Laroquebrou.

Thursday 17th May: Via Beaulieu sur Dordogne and onto the lake near Larche. No local restaurant and again it's important to fuel up in the evening.

Friday 18th May: Larche to Cherveix Cubas or onward to Cubjac for some possibly.

    Love it :-)
Will be in touch about routes, the new mid-week excursion east looks good.

Would love to have attended, but I'm limited to skool hols. The event I joined a couple of years ago was top.

    Have a good one guys!
