Just started following this thread. Is there still a 100m radius limit around Joplin?

Yep. Might allow a couple of extra miles for a cool tag...

New tag! Considering that this is an ADV forum, I recommend the northern approach.

BTW, you'll have to crunch some gravel to get here. I recommend the northern route because you get a mile of dirt, mud, weeds, ruts, and puddles. But if you're not into that kind of thing, you can approach from east or west on pretty solid gravel. Of course, if you're like me, you'll want to continue south to enjoy some more fun, though that route ends in a field (still worth it).

Also...if you find this guy out there, let me know:

Glad to see this isn't dead. Hopefully the next tag will be closer to home in SW MO...

Google's says the quickest route from Joplin to this site is 53.0 miles (61 minutes).

Yup. Out geocaching with my wife close by the tag location a couple weeks ago. It's not the distance, it's all the straight road, LOL.

Almost in range of my bicycle...but not quite.

So I'll stick to the motorized bike for this tag.

I came down the rutted two lane road to the north. Last time I blindly trust Mr. Garmin.

Haha. That road to the north was my favorite part of the ride. :)

Well, if you decide to return for more practice, it goes a bit further to the south as well and ends in a field.

Nice find, BTW! I thought that might be more obscure.

    Well....

I pulled the latitude and longitude from your image...

    Not really cheating, right? :D

Were you able to check out the mowed paths to the north of the tag?

haha...going to have to strip the geodata from the photos in the future...give it a bit more mystery. :linzi

Wow...didn't notice the mowed trails. Did you check them out?

    Nope.

Didn't see them until I was at home looking at google earth

Will try to return and check out the geocache w/daughters.

Might try to take a look at the paths at that time.

    New tag.

The intersection of one of the male actors from the 90's television show, Friends and one of Madonna's ex-husbands.

You might throw an apple into the mix to round out the day.
