Who is up for some trails this weekend? Was thinking about hitting Chin Page N, then SW entrances maybe hscrugby can suggest a couple other trails?

    NCMP on Saturday.

That's my plan. Don't think I'm up for the race there on Sunday, so hauling ass around the place on Saturday sounds cheaper and more fun.... :lol3

    Anyone else interested?

Actually, the woods have been closed all week.
Not sure which portions of which MX tracks will be part of the course, but check their FB page to see precisely what will be open on Saturday. My guess is that all MX and no woods will be open.

Did RMATV partial ship? Is it too late to order from somewhere else? Don't you have two trashed ACLs???

I could pick up a chain local, and I might do that...
but I cleaned the chain real good, and it's not "bad" but it's not good either....
So i'll prolly just run it..

the main issue was it was completely caked with mud and dust after the last few rides. A GOOD cleaning, (not just spraying it with more lube) made it feel like a new chain. I could still slide the rear back quite a bit for tightening, so it's not overly stretched, having a spare chain prolly wouldn't hurt, but being broke makes me think I'll just rock it... :D

I'm doing this more for the fun and to see how bad my fitness is. not to try and win anything.

Do you guys ride the powerlines betwen chin page and TW alexander? I was out there last saturday, but it was pretty overgrown, not a lot of evidence of people riding there. Same with the lines north of 70 (&Leesville).

Newbie question. I live up near Falls Lake. There are several long power lines and Forest service land up this way. Is it legal to ride the power lines and/or forest service roads? Or is this a 'don't get caught' thing.
