Assholes. I'll keep an eye out for sure.
i got my hands on some templates for various cycles, mainly motocross and my DRZ400. Does anyone know perhaps somewhere around locally that might be able to print them out on vinyl?
Try Tapeworks in Garner, NC
HSC Rugby.. if you got that KTM running, hit some trails Saturday? Your choice? My only catch is I have to go a little light.. not a ton of mud.. skull surgery and all.. Need to get back on the saddle.
I wish... But family stuff this weekend...
Geez-aweez man... well the DRZ is ready to go. Battery is charged, new tail light assy and blinkers, new front brakes.
I mounted the light and plate back on the frame further back into the wheel well, wire loomed it and taped it up to be water tight, connections have been electro greezed. Only way for it to get ripped off this time is for a tree trunk to go through my rear wheel well at just the right angle because I built a break-away pivot on the mount so it can move out of the way.
I have a cool design for a new kind of mount thats spring loaded pivot and crush mounted. Need to buy some aluminum and get with Mike for his TIG welder.
Hey all, just got a 06' KLR a few weeks ago.
Im a obsessive mountain biker and have decided to transfer some obsession to the motor sports world. Anyways, I don't have much experience on single track, other than a mountain bike (had a crusier before KLR), but was wondering if something like this may be happening again anytime soon. Would like to learn from some of you experienced riders in the triangle. I have huge NEED to be off the pavement in this concrete jungle. Help me. Most saturdays I take some time to mountain bike, but would glady get some dual sport action with some new friends.
Nice idea Kyle. Time to unleash some TARDS.

Im down to find some off road spots in the triangle. anybody know of a good place that wont swallow my klr?
I just checked out some power line trails near Harris Lake. Since I'm new to the dirt I don't know all the rules for getting off pavement and hitting some trails. I won't cut through someone's property or anything like that but if a sign isn't posted is it cool to do so? Do you guys happen to use any train tracks to cut over to other trails? Just trying to figure out where to ride. Thanks!
Just had another cool bike night at the Whistle in Hillsborough. We had a Triumph Scrambler, a BMW 1200GS, a Suzuki GS750 and a Triumph Speed Triple.
Looking for more riders to join us for group rides in the Hillsborough area followed by good craft beer at the Whistle. Hillsborough BBQ is right next door for the munchies. And no I don't work for these guys, I just live up the street and want to see a lot of cool bikes on Wednesdays to help me get through the week...beer helps too.
+1 on the Hillsborough Barbecue. A little pricey, but very good if not a traditional barbecue joint.
There is a mixed group going to Uwharrie April 15-17. We have some campsites reserved. By mixed I mean Trucks and Bikes.
If you want to join let me know I'll give the details.
If you're already going to be there that weekend please pick my bike up off of me when you ride past.
That sounds interesting...

Got a dirty bike?
Bump. Edited post - I've been told it's probably not the best idea to post specific locations of trails here, and I completely agree after further thought, so I've removed that information. If anyone feels like sending a direct message with any leads, however, it would be greatly appreciated!
