Yesterday, Rode the route from Greenfield, south. This is a great route for bigger bikes with alot more challenge than the TMT or PDR. The mud hole is dry. The route becomes increasingly more challenging in the northern half...good stuff.

    Sorry to hijack, but
It is SO AWESOME being able to fly from TF Greene direct to Cork or Dublin for as cheap as $99!

Enjoyed a lovely and varied ride from Killingly then south to East Beach. I came upon this giant cairn (actually two of them) guarding a driveway along the way. Question: How long does it typically take to complete the entire route at a comfortable pace? Puppy to the Beach is my new favorite route, especially the northern half. :-) Very convenient for Rhode Islanders...Cheers

You couldn't ask for a nicer day. While you were riding south on Saturday, we rode north from home. I think we may have passed you along the way.
I took a bunch of photos so you guys could see what a great ride you missed. :lol3

    Still in Rhode Island.

I saw the riders at the gas station as we went by... I didn't put 2+2 together until later... or I would have stopped. Great day for a ride...looked like an awesome route for the DARC ride.

Thanks! Now I regret selling the Tee Dub all over again.
If it only had a SR400 motor and took standard ADV tire sizes.

20171103_124357.jpg Beautiful day at east beach yesterday, I had yesterday off and figured this might be the last chance this season to take the puppy to the beach in reverse so off I went with my new zumo, just for the record my gps knowledge is limited to a tom-tom I had in a company truck 15 years ago and occasionally using my phone with Google maps so I'm a total noob when it comes to this, so Wednesday night my zumo was delivered and I plugged it into my laptop registered, updated, and downloaded basecamp and much to my surprise I was able to easily load the track to the zumo, so I thought..lol.
upon arrival I ran into my first problem which was the zumo wanted to take me to Greenfield via the fastest route to start the there so I fumbled through the menu and reversed the route, I least I think I did..lol, the next problem was I kept getting rerouted but I think I figured that out this morning as dirt roads were set in avoidances, lol go figure, anyway had a great day riding the beaches and I'll figure this thing out soon or later just have some homework to do..still looking forward to this ride!

Sometimes its easier if you just display the track... (and not use the routing that give you voice commands...)
If you get off track.. you will still see the original track, it won't change.
    ...

It comes down to following a route vs displaying a track... two different things...
