We've been having outstanding riding weather in the mornings. Low to mid 60's. Looks to stay that way thru Tuesday.

Chance of Thunder storm on Wednesday, but this far out, I'd ignore that. They've been spotty this summer and only accurate a day or two out.

I'll be around Wednesday afternoon/evening for sure.....the rest of the days are maybe, maybe not. It all depends on how my back feels. Been doing a little project.

I'll be coming around after work for sure, just got back from a week vacation, and I have lots of stuff to catch up.
Doubtful I will be able to camp overnight.

You can use the hot tub. Call it physical therapy.
I have to change the water in it anyway so Raspberry said she's ok with dirty bikers using it.:lol3

In typical fashion, I've waited too long to get shit done and in order. I've gotta get a rear tire mounted today or I'm pretty S.O.L. and will just risk riding the damn thing up as is. If that's the case, I should be fine but will be in desperate need of a tire shop near you Skid. Any info?

I have tubleless 17's (street bike) so at least it's not anything weird.

There are a number of good-size cities within an hour of here, so there's got to be something. I'll leave it to Skid to make a specific recommendation. Hell, you could buy a tire and mount it here.

P.S. Get your ass up here!:beer:ricky

I'm one of those sissified doods (isn't that the proper Northerner pronunciation?) that doesn't wrangle tires by hand.

Plus Q3's have carbon fiber sidewalls. Quite the match for some spoons, I'd imagine!

Shooting for a lunch arrival Wednesday! Anyone have special requests of the KY Bourbon variety? :drink

This is going to be your best bet.

    Magic Motorsports Waterford.

About 1/2 hr away. Lots of tires in stock. They can install, or we can do it here. I have a bead breaker and spoons.

I can run over and pick something up if you want.

    Awesome response, Skid. Much appreciated!

I have my wheel in the back of my SUV with plans to attempt getting a tire mounted at 4pm today. If that doesn't work out then I'll call Magic Motorsports tomorrow when en route and probably hit them up first before arriving at the soirée.

The shagged Angel GT surely has 300 miles left in it. Thanks for offering to go pick something up but I couldn't ask that of ya.

Project, if you call and order it, either Skid or I can go get it as needed. No trouble at all.

Yeah, screw that. They're good people there. I'm sure they can hook you up.
If they don't have what you need there are a lot of other places around.

Just to throw a few more bike shops out there.
About a 1/2 hour west of Skids . There is Vehicle City motor sports 810-422-5619 and Rockys 810-742-5420.

Skid , mind if I drop by tomorrow afternoon for a few hours ? Going try to finagle my way out of work a few hours early ? Be nice to put some faces to some names.

Vehicle City is now useless for anything outside of Harleys, Rocky's is pretty limited anymore but they are one of the few places that has tubes for the rear of the mighty DR. Rocky's can mount the tire though if you have it since they don't stock a lot.

There is also Motorcity power sports at 1645 S. Telegraph Road Bloomfield Hills MI 48302

Further north in Lapeer (which is a nice ride if you take back roads there is

    Ray C's
    1422 Imlay City RdLapeer MI 48449 810-664-9800

Finally got ahold of my local race shop and they are gonna get me taken care of at 4.

Thanks for the info on local shops regardless, always good to know where the shops are!
