Thats great have a good trip
Sent from the trunk of a 74 Caprice.
Some day I'll find a way to have enough time
Several of the BMW club guys are on their way to Prudhoe Bay. They just had to wait until they retired. You know you'll be riding forever.
Picked up a Go Pro sliver from my son at Max BMW and have been attempting to put together a few videos. I'm still figuring things out but here is an initial attempt. For some reason it shut off before the end of the road (which is on North River Road)
Nice video waspp...lots of DS two track trails in that area.
Upper Tellico OHV area had lots and lots...but now permanently closed. Stream pollution due to erosion caused by the trails was the official story, I think. Really too bad. It was a very popular OHV destination and Green Cove suffered at the closure.
You need to give a little scream when you turn your head and look over the drop off. And I guess with the camera on top of your helmet you may need to trim up some branches. :-O

Great pics Rust! Hope he trip keeps going well!
Cool video waspp. Nice how you always managed to be in the track with the mud puddles.
That explains a lot because I have seen a number of over grown roads gated off and suspected money was the issue.
I'm wondering if maybe a branch shut the camera off, it seems unlikely but I had more room on the card and it just stopped. It takes some getting used to for an old guy technically deficient!
Yes mud puddles are a must!
Meanwhile Royal Blue, Brimstone and Windrock are doing bitchen business.
Follow the money.
HEY! Why do other areas have scheduled meets and dinners and such and we don't?
We need to wage a get together!
Right on, that's easy enough. Knoxville is mostly central to all of us. Maybe start there then we can move it around as we find cool new places for the old folks to eat and introduce the new folks to the old classic places?
I, personally like the idea of Knoxville meet and greet locale as part of this thread...not so much for ETTOR exclusively. This thread should have a broader appeal than a photo game is what I'm thinking.
One opinion down.
Ok. So Knoxville is the venue.
What we doing or eating?
I like the idea as well.
I like that idea also.
But I am currently in Fairbanks, Alaska at the moment.
I like the Meet and Eat idea,
BUT because I work in Vonore, and typically get home between 4:30-6:00 and then take care of the dogs, many times things Monday to Friday don't work so well.
I can usually take time over a weekend though.
Maybe the Cracker Barrel at Campbell Station Rd and I-40 as a meeting place. It seems to be easy enough to find and accommodates larger parties. Just one idea.
