Two weeks of sensory overload is what we're planning!

Ok, maybe that's a stretch but Scudrunner 82 and myself plan to cram just about as much cool stuff as possible into two weeks plus of riding.

Departure date ,this Friday Aug 15.

    The weapons.

We plan to head from the Albany NY area into Canada near Watertown NY.

    From there the hotspots are.

As much dirt as we can do in two days in the Michigan UP.

    South Dakota Badlands.

Denver Colorado, Cinnamon pass Engineer pass and Ophir pass.

    Moab Utah, white rim trail

On the way home we plan to hit the Tail of the Dragon, Blue ridge parkway.

Cannonshot was kind enough to supply us with GPS tracks, making navigating much easier.:clap

I'm very excited about another trip west. Last year I did a similar route, although solo. It will add another element of fun going with someone.

I think we are both just about ready. Yesterday we hung out in his garage doing the finishing touches on his 990

    [IMG][/IMG]

    Last night I started packing.

It feels great to be leaving for another adventure. There is nothing like a long day on the road and sitting down in disgusting riding gear with a cold beer. It never gets old. :clap

    The planned route west.
The return will be more seat of the pants-ish.

I've always fancied one of these to put the GPS right where I want it.

Got it today and went right to work.
