Feel free to crash at my place if heading through Modesto. This is one of the gateways to Yosemite and the Sierras. I have an open couch and garage with the basics for maintenance and repair. Feel free to jump in the pool and BBQ too.

Happy to help with routing options for the region too.

PS - I am also the Sales Manager at Cycle Specialties BMW, Triumph, Husqvarna. If you are in need of something more major or just need to get a tire squeezed in on a Saturday, I can help.

Call me at the shop! I don't always check advrider daily! 209-524-2955

Mexico, NY is about 30 miles north of Syracuse by NY RT 81 N and about 40 miles south of Watertown by 81S. We're about 5 miles from the closest exit off 81 and the exit bears the name of the town. If you're traveling via rt 104 or rt 3, Mexico is at the intersection of these two state routes. Routes 104 & 3 are part of the seaway trail.

I live in the village but have plenty of lawn space and it's very quiet here. Garage, truck, trailer, tools and whatever assistance I can be is at your disposal.

The right time of year will find the pool open. Cold beer can be found here anytime.

Drop me a pm and I'll give you phone # and/or coords if you need them.

Trailer, tools, spare room, secure bike parking, booze friendly. 5 minutes to a cycle gear outlet, 15 to BMW of Western Oregon or Honda/Kawasaki shop. I have maps and a pretty good knowledge of local twisties and dirt roads. PM me, I check the list several times weekly if I'm in town.

Lots of tent space, spare bedroom, live right off CO 103 which takes you to Mt. Evans--8 miles from the entrance / Echo Lake. Tools, tire changer, shed for overnight storage if needed.

9,200 feet in altitude on heavily wooded site. Well maintained 1 1/2 miles of dirt road to get here.

Central Denver near downtown, living room / spare room available most times It's a cathouse so allergic people beware, and now with a toddler too (as of 2013), enough lawn/pattio to pitch a tent or two I suppose, well stocked if chaotic (complete wreck) garage with tools, lifts, and what not see the tool thread for details on that..

HOUSTON, TX, actually just north of Houston.

I have a full shop, with air tools and fabrication machines.

Also I have a guest bedroom with a queen bed and private bath.

Houston sucks, but I'm only about three miles from I-45, just north of the city, so if you are on your way through and are in need of maintenance or a warm meal, PM me.

I have about 105 acres with a main house and guest cabin. Not many tools, but a full garage and more tent space that you can ever use. Property is gorgeous, and unoccupied most of the year.

Directions will have to be given, but the property is about 25 miles, 40 minutes west of Trinidad, Colorado, on Hwy 12.

Edit, we are on an AK / Yukon trip 8-20-17 through 9-25-17 and are unable to respond to communication and unable to host travelers during this time period.

Ferndale, Humboldt County, California; just off US 101, 250 miles north of San Francisco.

KTM, Suzuki, Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki, Harley dealers and 2 independent motorcycle shops in nearby Eureka. Welding shop a few miles away in Ferndale.

My wife and I live just outside of town, in a small apartment on a ranch. We have yard space for tent camping, a garage with basic tools and secure bike storage, and a couch and floor space / air mattress available.

EDIT 7-26-17- I feel like a toolbag imposing restrictions but due to some concerns we've had with recent tent space users (of which we've had a ton due to our location being on the coast and a riding day north of SF) I have to state up front:

Unfortunately I cannot allow animals - as much as I love dogs they are not permitted on premises as per my landlord - who lives on the ranch and sees the comings and goings. Please, no drugs. If you want to smoke weed because you are a simplistic man-child who can't get adequate therapy from handlebar time, then stay somewhere else. If you can actually afford a hotel but are too cheap to do it, then please don't stay with us. We live simply and want to extend an offer to travelers who need a place to stay on the cheap because they are broke, not travelers who have a brand new $30,000 motorcycle but who refuse to drop $50 at a motel. Similarly, if you have a camper, toy hauler, etc... don't come here. This is not a campground or staging area. This is a place for weary travelers to do laundry, shower, and sleep. Finally, we may or may not be able to hang out, get dinner, ride, drink beer around the fire, etc. My wife and I work night shift and we need to sleep during the day some of the week, and we will be at work overnight on 12-13 hour shifts some of the week. Please don't stay with us expecting anything more than a clean and safe place to clean up and crash for a night (singular, ONE night). We are super friendly people and love meeting and hanging out with new people... but not when we are running on 0 sleep for 2 days straight.

Again, I feel like a tool adding this edit with restrictions, but seriously, we've had people who have shown up expecting us to run this place like a fucking bed and breakfast, with a tour service and chauffeur service added in, and then want to stay for multiple days.

Ung... sorry for all that. Blame the few that mess it up for the many.

Anyway... if that wasn't off-putting, feel free to contact me, even last minute, if you need a place to stay locally.

In the beautiful Annapolis Valley, Nova Scotia, a hop skip and a jump from Wolfville. Have room for some tents or if your slightly sensitive to bumpy ground floors in the house or even an extra bed. You can lay in your tent and hear the waves of "The Bay of Fundy" crashing on the shore.
If you want to stay here your problem will be you will have to listen to me drone on about my trip to Ushuaia and watch endless hours of out of focus, badly structured pictures but your always welcome.

    Cheers Slowphil

Godspeed checkin' in. I am in beautiful Port Angeles, WA. Email me @ godspeed44@hotmail.com I am currently rebuilding my house so I have space but it is spartan. Imagine camping in an urban house. I do have secure covered space and basic tools to wrench with. There is a local independent shop and a motorcycle dealer in town.

Lots of street and trail riding around. Right off of 101 and close to the Olympic Loop Ride.

20 miles west of Downtown Portland Oregon in the suburbs. Not much space for camping these days, but for dire circumstances it's possible to make room for the night. Possible help with mechanical issues.

Yard space, garage space, some tools, tire-changer, buddy with ALL the tools and a trailer if needed. Beer almost always. Floor space if the weather is nasty.
